Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Absolute Bait-and-Switch Nightmare! Avoid At All Costs! We booked "Stylist 7sleeps contractor groups friendly1bedroom flat Canada Water free WiFi", but the entire experience turned out to be an absolute circus: Zero Communication: I messaged the host an entire day before our arrival asking for check-in and access instructions, only to get total radio silence in return. The Bait-and-Switch at the Door: When we arrived at the property, we were locked out needing an access code. I called the host, and she asked me to send a photo of our booking confirmation via WhatsApp. The second I sent it over, she hit us with a classic curveball—claiming the booked flat was "no longer available" and trying to shove us into a completely different property above a local restaurant! Rude Host Behavior: Accepting a random substitute without knowing its safety or locality was obviously out of the question. When I called back to politely insist on the property we actually paid for, she straight-up hung up on me! The only true heroes in this whole saga were Expedia Customer Support, who were super efficient, stepped in immediately, and sorted us out with a proper stay. (Note for quick transport seekers: Just as an FYI, this spot isn't near a tube station!)
