We stayed at this property for two nights as a spa stay. The hotel itself looks fantastic, and is well maintained. The staff on the front desk were very helpful and polite. The room was a great size with a seperate sitting area, a nice bathroom and small kitchen area which was appreciated. We chose the hotel due to the pool and spa facilities which was really nice, but I made a mistake thinking the pool, which is warmed to 31 degrees, would be warm! It takes some getting used to, but there is also a nice sauna and steam room. The area itself is pretty great too, with at least 10 food options within a 5 minute walking distance. The nearest tube stop is also about 5 minutes away, and its served by several bus lines. If we needed to stay in London again we would definately consider coming back

The rooms were so dark (dark brown walls) and the lighting was “imbalanced” (my partner is an electrical contractor and he noticed it as well) that you could barely see yourself in a mirror. I know it sounds fussy, but we are very casual people and this was notable. One positive is that the breakfast was fantastic. And the staff, both housekeeping and front desk were really terrific. But there was really nothing anyone can do about the interior of the rooms so we did not mention it.

This hotel was wonderful. It was right in center of Kensington. Very close to the underground, cafes, restaurants, Hyde park, museums. The staff were extremely nice. Rooms were great.

Great hotel; Terrific service

A terrific place to stay in South Kensington. It is only a block or so away from the Glouster Road tube stop and. 45-minute direct tube line to Heathrow Airport.. This place exudes quality and has terrific customer service. For example, in the middle of the night, I woke up because my room was too warm. It was a hot day in London and the air conditioning was not working properly in my room. I went to the front desk. The young man on duty that quickly came up to my room, saw that it wasn’t working, and moved me to another room on the same floor. The next morning, I went down to front desk and told them I didn’t need the other room because the air conditioning in my room was now working. The woman at the front apologized and asked if there was anything she could. Without hesitation, she offered to comp me a breakfast the next morning. This is an example of great customer service. The rooms here are beautiful and well-equipped, the pool is lovely, but the terrific customer service convinced me that whenever I am in London again, I will look to stay here.
