Room very small I asked for a king sized room and it was tiny, bathrooms, the shower very dirty, pillows uncomfortable. A moldy smell. Definitely not a 4 star hotel, are is great, staff friendly but totally wrongly advertised! And overcharged after I left a day early.

The Resident Kensington is well located, close to the Underground, and a lovely hotel. Ayush and his team were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Check in was a breeze and the facilities had everything we needed. The Kensington area is very nice, and The Resident is close to many restaurants. We'll definitely stay at The Resident for future London visits.

This property is in a great area, quick walk to Earls Court station on the Piccadilly line, which gives quick access to central London and Heathrow. The hotel is clean and rooms are small (at least the one we had) but well appointed - a small kitchenette was a nice touch. Only problem was wooden blinds, which did not close properly and one was broken, so room never got dark. This was passed on to front desk. But overall a nice little hotel for a London trip.

From the first moment at reception, our stay was amazing. Easy registration process, bags were stored until our room was ready and then they were carried up to room. Breakfast recommendation provided for a pub a short walk away plus a !0% discount card. Then clear directions to the Natural History Museum. The next day, reception helped download our tickets for Hamilton and printed a copy for us. Very personable and very caring front desk staff!

The Good: Very clean and refurbished. Coffee machine. The bad: Small room, lots of stairs, Not very comfortable bed, terrible 3rd bed. Also, no breakfast, no free bottle water and the receptionist was very cold. I’ve seen other staff being much nicer than him. All in all, I will never stay in this hotel again, we stayed in much better similar price hotels and were much much better. We paid £536 for two nights so not cheap!! But we were tricked by the very high rating on Expedia.

Perfect location for seeing the sights in London

Comfortable and clean room. I did hear the people above me a lot as they walked around the room, but I think that is hard to avoid given that hotels are in older buildings. But, if you are a light sleeper something to keep in mind. Otherwise staff were friendly and room was as expected based on the hotels.com listing. Very handy having my own little kitchenette to store drinks, snacks and meals. Great location as less than 5 minute walk to Earl's Court station which provides direct service to Heathrow on the Piccadilly line and direct service to Westminster/Buckingham Palace/Tower of London areas on district line. Also, walkable to a small grocery store, shops and plenty of food places.

We loved our stay here. All of the staff were wonderful. The room and bed were comfortable and quiet. It's super close to the Earl's Court Underground Station, and lots of restaurants. Would highly recommend!
