Canary wharf stay

Excellent experience, from check in to check out. Friendly staff, upgraded our room as was wedding anniversary. Lovely note and treats in room and free drink in the bar. Very modern, comfortable and in a lovely area. Very easy to get to with several transport links.

Very nice hotel in Canary Wharf. Lots of restaurants nearby. Rooms are small like most London hotels - I was solo but would be very tight with another person. Don’t get one with an adjoining room - very loud people were next door and kept me up!

This was my first time in Tribe and the check in staff were lovely. One staff member training and one supervisor they were both kind and patient it was a good first impression. The room was small but everything was there with a clean bathroom and a good shower (can be unusual in London). All in all only a 1 night stay but id come back.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, responding almost immediately to any inquiries we had via the mobile communication. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, and the safety feature for calling a lift was great. Would definitely stay again!

Canary Wharf

Room & shower room smaller than average hotel room but still comfortable enough for one night stay. Clean and a great breakfast. Staff friendly except for member manning the breakfast desk who couldn’t understand when I asked if my daughter could join us for breakfast as she lives in Canary Wharf and we were meeting her before travelling home. She still fussed and insisted on her room number when she arrived. A bit embarrassing.

I was very uncomfortable during my stay as I was drenched in sweat every night due to the AC thermostat not working. My conclusion is that they have a central AC and thermostat in the room is just a facade. I put the it to 12C and was still drenched in sweat as the temperature remain the same. A plus was that the area has a supermarket and few restaurants which was convenient. Also, the cleaning service was impeccable, kudos to those people. I noticed they had a gym in the building but it came at extra cost to guest. If you are going into the hospitality business, do things right. Don’t provide subpar services to guest when you’re charging exorbitant prices. It’s a safe to say, I will not be staying here again.

Cube sized room with a city view

Ideal location for concert in Greenwich. Short distance from Canary Wharf tube and shops. Room was very clean and bed was comfy. Pillows were really soft. Bathroom had decent shower. My only criticism was the size of the room. It felt like I was staying in a cube as it was as high as it was wide. It was so small there was just room to manoeuvre around the bed and no real space for bags or clothes, other than short hanging. Missed having a chair to read in. There was a tiny desk/bedside shelf with a hard school like chair. This was a city view room. I think the atrium view would have been a depressing room to stay in. We didn’t eat in the hotel, and had breakfast out. Be careful getting dressed as windows are full length and rooms look straight into another building…..but it felt safe to stay in as a mother & daughter and despite the size I would stay here again.
