First of all, the staff for this property was AMAZING! Mehdi, Hakeem and Paul were helpful in every way, Important to note: this property does not have a lift/elevator and is an old British building which means narrow, steep stairs. The staff will carry your bags for you, but climbing 5 flights of stairs left me winded! My single room was clean and comfortable, but very small. Dimensions were roughly 6 feet wide by 8 feet long. All in all, I loved the quirkiness of the building and as a smaller person in relatively good shape, did not mind the drawbacks. However, I can imagine others would have been surprised by these conditions. Still, I would not hesitate to book here again!

Excellent hotel in an excellent location. Great staff and service, and clean rooms. Mehdi received us initially, and was a gracious host, accommodating all our needs and questions about the city and attractions as well. Paul and Hakim were fantastic and helpful during the stay. Will definitely return.

My stay was pleasant! Can’t really complain with the value for money in a prime location for what I got! In particular the staff were amazing on the front desk, in particular Mehdi and Hakeem. I’ve never been so well looked after from a front desk perspective!

Lovely gem with great location and superb staff

They were able to accommodate my need for an early check-in and the room was very clean and updated. There was room for luggage, but not much space to have opened. It was not an inconvenience and the check-in staff were so helpful upon check-in and getting my luggage to room and bringing down my heavy piece. They offered restaurant suggestions, a map with details that they could draw on for clear help to me. They were very helpful in understanding the train and underground travel schedules and suggested an app for me to download. The proximity to Paddington station is excellent. Easy to maneuver my 2 rolling suitcases in a very early morning departure. I really enjoyed my stay and slept very well.

Seriously Needs Refreshing

I hate writing bad reviews so I’m first going to focus on the positive. The staff are amazing. Very kind and helpful. I liked them so much I couldn’t complain about the state of my room. After all, it wasn’t their fault. But the room, ick. It smelled horrible like bleach, there were stains all over the carpet, the bed was very uncomfortable, the room shook from the metro every 10 seconds, the hair dryer didn’t work, & the walls are paper thin. It was so bad I stayed one night and moved to another hotel. Again, I hate complaining and I’m this case I didn’t think another room would have been any better. My note to management: you need a refurbishing.

Amazing location! Stayed here for 2 nights! Reception staff were so attentive and very friendly! Couldn’t do enough for you! Hotel only a 2 minute walk from Paddington station. Room was small but perfect for what we needed! Would definitely stay again!

TCH was great

The Tudor Court Hotel (TCH) was a great place to stay. It was a block from Paddington station and a ten minute walk to Hype Park. Location is excellent for catching the Tube or Heathrow Express. Many restaurants and pubs in the area. Little Venice was a nice canal walk with bars and restaurants. The TCH was clean and had everything you need. The room was small but we only slept there so it was fine. The staff was outstanding. They are there all the time and always greeting you warmly and offering support.

I have stayed here several times, mostly because the staff are so pleasant. The hotel itself is comfortable, serviceable, and convenient. Norfolk Gardens is an added bonus.

The hotel is one in row of small hotels in a building that is about 150 years old. It is located very close to the Paddington Station, and there are many restaurants in the area and a hospital (St. Mary’s). There is no breakfast but there is a McDonald’s and a restaurant within a couple of blocks that serve breakfast. Paddington Station has direct access to connect Elizabeth Line to go to and from Heathrow Airport (less than a 7-minute walk). From this station you can catch most trains and metro to go anywhere in London, and buses pass within a block from the hotel. My room was small but very clean. To get to it I had to climb 3 sets of stairs (they have no lift), so make sure to ask for a room on lower levels if you have difficulty climbing stairs. The Reception Desk staff will help you carry the bags. Desk personnel was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Mehdi, Paul, Hakeem and Buddha. My deepest appreciation and thanks to them.

An excellent convenient little hotel

Hakeem and Mehdi in reception were excellent, changing our room to take account of the need to reduce climbing stairs, giving advice of where to eat and how to use the tube (which saved pounds!). The room was small, as you would expect but was modern, well laid out, clean and in very good condition. Perfect for our 2 night stay.
