A little Gem in central London!

I have been coming to London for over 30 years and I wish I had discovered this hotel sooner. The staff are so friendly, helpful and so professional. I have to commend the lovely receptionist who could not be more helpful. But the biggest acelade has to be given to the cleaner. I don't think that my hotel room was never that clean and I even seen the nice lady dusting the didorail in the stairs!! Incredible dedication to her work well done. The hotel just had new carpets fitted and the hotel looked very well looked after. I am looking to book there in October and years to come!

Cheap and cheerful with amenities

Great for short a stay. Since we were city hopping we needed something cheap and cheerful. Tv worked great nice to wind down with a takeaway from locals. Bathroom was clean and had all the amenities such as adequate loo roll and body wash/shampoo and hair dryer, towels. Bathroom is small but fine for an average sized person. Larger individuals will struggle to get in and out. We were in the basement and had a twin single bed room which was roomy. Enough space to walk around and plenty of storage. One bed was a bit hard in the springs but other than that nice pillows very comfortable. Heating was not a problem and house keeping were prompt. Check-in/out was easy and quick. Best part for us is that it’s less than 3 minute walk from Kings Cross St Pancras and has a corner shop/ coffee shop Costa subway Creams Main chic takeaway round the corner. I would always recommend to bring a pair of earplugs and an eye mask you never know what sort of other guests will be staying there. As we stayed the first night and slept soundly, second night was loud as we had children staying in the room above but using our initiative we popped in our earplugs and got straight to sleep. All in all a very good stay. Will consider staying again definitely if there’s availability.

Great location

Super-easy location - five minutes from the front of St Pancras. Easy check-in. Everything's quite narrow but everything worked. Room was good (simple) and my brief stay was fine.

More like hostel and not hotel

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is in a great location close to King's Cross, nice a quiet for London. The room was on the top floor. Very small room, and I mean very small. It felt more like a hostel and not a hotel. The bed was very uncomfortable. On the day we were leaving they were laying carpets and left wood with nails up on stairs, not very smart move unless you want naios in your feet/shoes.

Good Value budget room

Great location and fab frontage, just a hop away from kings Cross/St Pancras station. Reception warm inside and welcome good. The walk to your room is a bit grim if I am honest, the carpet is stained and it has hostel vibes. So I was really anxious that the room would be awful. However, the room was fine for a base. Had everything you need, was clean with a good shower and comfy bed. But it is a tight squeeze in both the bedroom and bathroom (so if youre a larger person/or couple you may struggle...). You get what you pay for and I wouldn't hesitate in returning for a night or two, but if you want/expect 5 stars then you need to book that. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location & value for money

We were greeted by a very nice gentleman who made us feel very welcome. The decor was a little tired but hey its a little character. Our room was extremely clean. The only downside was that the radiator wasnt on and when we got in after our show the room was so cold...i did turn the radiator up and we did eventually warm up!!! Everything very accessible and felt safe. Great place to get your head down. Thanks Wordonia 😁

The hotel is dated and the room was small. The stairs were awkward and very steep. BUT for what I paid it was fine. We only needed somewhere to sleep so it didn't matter. The beds were clean and pillows really comfy. The grout and flooring in the bathroom weren't great! We stayed here due to proximity to the station and being able to leave luggage and collect later was a big bonus. You get what you pay for and this did the job for 1 night. I would stay again on a quick stop over.

Extra guest in our room, Mickey Mouse

Unfortunately there was a mouse in our room, staff gave us another one immediately on informing them So I would not recommend this hotel on these grounds
