Everyone was kind, courteous and very helpful. My room was always clean, there was plenty of coffee and my burger was delicious.

I originally reserved family room and then I upgraded to 1 bedroom apartment which I thought would have more room it was very small , located in basement and was musky smellingI went back to be moved to family room which was also very small . Some of staff were good but others didn’t make me feel welcomed . My next visit to London I wouldn’t chose to stay at the Wellington

I almost cancelled our booking after reading some mixed reviews online. Im so glad i didnt. The hotel is in an excellent quiet location, within a 5-10 minute walk from Westminster Abbey and close to Victoria station. The layout of the hotel is a bit different but thats also due to the age of the property. We had a deluxe king room which wed chosen as the queen rooms look very small and this was spacious and lovely. The bathrooms on the small size and no fan but towels replaced daily during our stay as well as bottled water. The fridge is a great addition. The bed is 2 singles together, we didnt find it a big ossue but some might. We ate at the Tiffin Tree which is an indian restaurant linked to the hotel and the food was excellent and well priced. Id absolutely stay again and would recommend to others.

Nice enough, cheapest option but no facilities... Would've got 5 stars but staff at the bar tried to charge me a service charge when I was going to take my own food up to the room... I asked why it was on there and rather than saying it's discretionary and he'll take it off he started trying to say why I need to pay it... A manager of staff came over and corrected it but that awkward experience ruined my stay. The staff need better training, also service charges should be at the explicit requests of the guest not assumed . This is not America, we have a minimum wage that the USA does not, this whole new culture is ridiculous and puts me off staying again

Some issues for us. No electrical outlet in bathroom. No washcloths to bathe with. Also, room was a bit small. Very tough for 2 people and their luggage. Thought we paid a good amount for the space yet had an internal view of the roof.
