I never recommend this place. I was not able to use the amenities that were advertised because it was in a rate building and hard to access, in front of the conversation center, and always the road was close to the police and noisy, the windows were not soundproof and many others, to access your room always must go to level 34 first and then switch to another elevator, unconvinced and confusing

Hotel is great overall. Deanna was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. The room has a strange set up with essentially no definitive bathroom and a sink in the open room. That’s why I gave it a 4star rating.

1. The elevator system is complicated and time-wasteful. 2. The billing system related to the required "destination fee" at check-in is not transparent. The customer pays into a "destination fee" account up front, which is supposed to be tapped whenever the customer dines at the hotel restaurant. But instead costs at the time of dining seem to be applied to the customer's security deposit credit card. After check-out, the "destination fee" account is reconciled against the security deposit and refunds are issued. Any unused "destination fee" credit at the hotel restaurant is lost. THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND COSTLY. Do NOT recommend this property.

A dirty room, no help and a fall on water

When I arrived they assigned me to a room that wasn’t cleaned— unmade bed, crumbs on the floor and half full water bottles everywhere. So I had to lug my stuff back to level 34 and they assigned another room but didn’t offer to help with bags. The showers overflow water onto the floor and I fell —slipped hard on my hip— I’m in my 60s— I went to the desk for Tylenol and their response was — it’s in the vending machine on level 9 —had not even offering to go get some -/ it was a terrible experience

Loved my stay at AC Hotel Downtown Los Angeles. Family friendly hotel, great location, fun experience, friendly/helpful staff both at reception, and at the Bar & Lounge.
