Right off the bat, the owner never initiated any communication with me about our stay, how to check-in, or even to just be friendly and welcome us. I had to reach out to him just a few hours before our check-in to try and get details about checking -in, which were very brief and not detailed. We parked in front of the house on the street. We received a parking citation the next morning stating there was no parking from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. There were no signs at all on the street that said this and the owner never mentioned this to us. I messaged the owner about this, and not surprisingly, he has not responded. The couch in the room was hard and springy, very uncomfortable, and hurt our backs. The bed sunk-in, was squishy and not supportive, very uncomfortable as well. As a result, we got a terrible night's sleep. The toilet paper wasn't in a holder, just loose on top of the toilet. He left what I am assuming are his personal, used sandals ( 3 pairs) right near the couch. The back of the front door looked all beat up and unsightly. We were very unhappy and disappointed with our stay and experience to say the least.
