I booked an accessible two-queen suite a month in advance and arrived at the hotel around 4:00 p.m. I paid extra for this room because I needed additional space for my teenage son. However, upon check-in, the front desk assigned us a regular two-queen room without any explanation. After driving seven hours to reach the hotel, this was very disappointing. When I entered the room on the fifth floor, I was especially upset that no one had communicated the reason for the change. I have been using this Cambria Hotel for nearly 15 years whenever I need to stay close to LAX, and this was the most disappointing experience I have had there. Clear and courteous communication is a basic expectation in hospitality, and I believe this situation could have been handled much more professionally

I’m following up on my case from last night regarding the room type not being honored at Cambria Hotel LAX. We were forced to stay overnight, but the sofa still did not have proper bedding, and the hotel was unable to provide an equivalent accommodation. As a result, we were unable to rest properly last night, which significantly impacted our stay. I am requesting a refund or partial refund due to hotel fault.

They charged me a pet fee at a dog friendly hotel and never asked if it was a service animal which I have documentation for. I was told to send an email with proof and I would be refunded but never was! There was also no soap in the shower and they charge $30 for parking on their property that has a parking lot ???

Overall the property was very nice. The staff at the front desk weren’t overly friendly but they did accommodate our needs and checked us in quickly. I will say my only complaint is the noise level isn’t very sound proof. We could hear the guests on each side of us clear as day, as well as the guests above us. This was a great location with easy access to the freeway, to local restaurants, the beach and the airport. We also loved how safe it felt.
