This hotel was fine for what we needed as a one night stop over in LA with our family. The highlights: The beds and pillows were really comfortable. Nice location right on to the beach. Liked that it had a balcony to sit out when kids went to bed. Easy, plentiful parking. Not so good: We were next to the stairs and it was really quite noisy throughout the night with people coming back to their rooms, we were woken up a lot. Breakfast was not a lot: coffee, pain au chocolates, cereal bar and squeeze fruit pouches.

This place makes the motel in my name is earl look to notch, things are rusty in the bathroom, the room smelled , it early needs a paint job and repairs. Location is good, but it a very average motel for the price

Don't let the pictures online fool you. Foghorn was a really nice hotel to stay at. It's nicer in person than the pictures lead you to believe. Foghorn is conveniently located to the beach and dining places. The price was outstanding, especially for the area that it is in. I highly recommend the Foghorn to anyone. I was pleasantly surprised how nice it is.

The staff amazing. Upgraded me to a better room because my room was not ready at 4. I really appreciated that so much. They were kind and vety helpful. Is an old hotel on the beach but very clean. You have to accept the noise on the beach and marina has helicopter and police sirens all the time. It is just this area. But, happy for the price and care staff gave me
