1-1/2-bedroom 1 bath apartment, upper apartment., 1st bedroom queen bed, 36-inch smart tv window air conditioner, dresser drawers
2nd room has a twin-size loft bedroom.
24-inch smart tv, dresser and fan. It’s a small room. Living room has sofa that makes into double bed, ,42-inch smart tv. Full kitchen with all amenities, apt is updated and very. Nice. Apt was built in 1940, the apt sleeps 4 adults 1child comfortably. There are stairs going into apt. 2 front door 1st door downstairs 2door upstairs lock box. Parking is pretty easy during the day nights can be tuff you might have to drive a couple blocks. Please don’t ding me for that, it’s street parking and I have no control. Walking distance to beach 2nd St, Beach. There is extra linen, towels blankets. we are pet friendly also

Was in a bit of a weird situation but the main bed broke the first day in but was resolved that night. Is air conditioned and in a convenient location, and the host is very kind. But the listing doesn’t reflect the amount of sleeping space accurately and the air mattress that the host said was at the property was malfunctioning (amongst some other repairs that need to happen due to wear and tear)

The location of the property was excellent, for it had great walkability. The one thing that needs to be updated is the lockbox for the key to the front door. It does not work properly, and it made access to the property nearly impossible.

Perfect stay

The location is perfect for a beach trip! Everything you could need for your stay is provided and parking was not as challenging as we anticipated. There were spaces available within a short walk all weekend. The unit is very quiet and spacious!

We were allowed to check in early which was amazing. However, the listing made it seem like there was two bedrooms with more beds. The "2nd" bedroom was a small closet with a loft twin bunk and that's all. We were traveling with two older ladies who could not get up there. Thankfully the couch converted to a decent space for both of them to sleep. Loved the location, it was a short walk to the pier and other places. Overall, I was satisfied with our stay.

Negatives Outweighed Positives

POSITIVES-close location to beach, main street of Belmont Shore and centrally located to everything we needed. NEGATIVES-Owner says not to ding her in reviews for parking, but it really needs to be considered when choosing a place. Unless you stay parked there your entire trip (parking in daytime when there is space) and using Lyft/Uber everywhere you go, YOU WILL NOT FIND PARKING, unless it’s at least six blocks away then a scary walk. Be aware street sweeping is Thursdays and Fridays - even harder to find space. Condo needs TLC. Rung on ladder to loft is split and creaking when stepped on. My daughter is 130lbs - wouldn’t recommend anyone heavier. Bathtub looked like a positive if you can get past me having to kill a Black Widow spider. Sadly, the bathtub plug was broken - it didn’t hold water. The lockbox to get the keys was challenging but owner responded right away to my text on arrival. When I texted asking about the tub plug, she texted back “who is this?” tho we had texted the first day. I told her we're the tenants then never heard back. POOR COMMUNICATION. The beach chairs are ripped up, umbrella broken. Not a necessary amenity, but disappointing nonetheless. Lastly, saying it sleeps 5 is a stretch. Bedroom is more full size bed, living room is a futon for one and loft for one. Sleeps 3 comfortably. We really wanted to like this place, but we won’t be renting here again.

The kitchen facilities are very good, with necessary seasonings. Decoration is lovely. The issue with the apartment is that it is indeed a one-bed apartment, there is one bed for a kid only in a walk-in closet (repurposed) which is extremely hot in summer and can hardly be used. Parking is a nightmare and need to search all around the streets. Be particularly careful for street sweeping time; it costs $70 for a ticket.

Excellent base to explore Long Beach

We stayed for a week to visit family and explore Long Beach and LA. It served as an excellent base for both. Public transport is a 5 minute walk away. There are shops and restaurants within the same walking distance. One thing to note there is no off street parking so if hiring a car parking can be difficult at times. The property itself was excellent and had all necessary amenities.
