I want to start this review by saying thank you to Ivan and his family for opening up their 2 million dollar condo with an HOA fee of 2160 per month to us at very reasonable rate. The location is excellent with Santa Monica a short drive south and Malibu village a quick drive north. The pool, beach chairs, and beach access felt very private and the views from the condo were incredible. The condo has been renovated and stalked with everything you would need for a short stay. For the rate and location this condo is a 10/10 and would definitely look at staying here again if available. The only recommendation would be to put at least a queen size bed versus the full bed in the second bedroom area to accommodate four people comfortably. Other than that this is a wonderful place to stay. Thanks again Ivan and family!

Great Condo on Carbon Beach

Had a recent stay here and place was great. Ivan is a fantastic host. Very responsive to questions and is a perfect host. Building is wonderful, safe and secure. Condo unit is very large and 2nd bedroom would be great to come back with friends. Ivan had everything we needed for our stay. Two huge TVs were a nice bonus to see as well. Sleeping beside the ocean was heaven. Pool and Jacuzzi were perfect as well. I would come back for sure. Thanks Ivan.

Wonderful place to stay on Carbon Beach

Would highly recommended this condo! Great location without walking distance of Nobu! We saw dolphins and sea lions on our balcony! Very clean and owner was so helpful!

Beautiful condo and great location

We had a great time. The condo is beautiful and the area is great. The only downfall was the pool is being renovated so we didn’get to enjoy it. Once it is done it will be a perfect spot for a vacation! We saw dolphins as we sat on the patio and loved listening to the waves at night! If we are ever back in the Malibu area we would definitely stay here again!

Excellent property!

My family and I spent five nights at this property. We were going to stay closer to Santa Monica, but when we saw this place, and it being beach front, we couldn't pass it up. Place is as advertised. Very clean, updated and spacious. Close to anything you need, restaurants, bar, grocery, pharmacy etc. Kitchen and bathroom VERY well stocked with all the little things you don't (or forget to) bring. Host was incredibly responsive to any questions and made checking-in and out very easy.

Great Location

Great location for walking to nearby restaurants. Gorgeous view. Pool was heated so able to use it probably year round. Our daughter loved sitting on the balcony soaking up the sun!!

Location, location, location

The minute you walk into the property, you will truly see how special it is. The location and view is the true star of the show with this condo. Incredibly clean, this 2br/1 bath is just about fabulous. The property manager was highly responsive and the instructions made check in super easy. Just an FYI, this is a 2/1 apartment- the bathroom is shared by both bedrooms. You can see into the primary bedroom from the bathroom (but hello, you can see the ocean while you shower), but it’s just a little less private than we expected. For us, it was no big deal (2 friends), but if it were two couples, you might want to remember that you can see right into the bedroom from the bathroom. 100% would recommend and stay again. In fact, I’m trying to plan my next trip back to the beach.

Only issue was there was no password info for WiFi which made communications difficult as cell service was spotty. Everything else was perfect. Note: automatic blinds in master bedroom were working, but quit.

Beautiful location and place was exactly what was advertised. It was unfortunate that of the heat wave and humidity was so unbearable and there was no air conditioning. We bought a box fan at the local store but it was still very uncomfortable most of the time spent in the condo.

Malibu Beach Getaway

This location is great, and the owners are very responsive! The pool and jacuzzi are, surprisingly, a great match for the beach. We thought we would spend all of our time on the beach, but when the tide was high or the kids felt like "swimming in warm water," the pool/jacuzzi were very nice. The place itself was very clean and well kept. We'll definitely be back again!!

Had a great time at this VRBO! Comfortable and welcoming condo right on the Malibu beach. The location could not have been more perfect and the amenities at the condo building really made the stay even better. Beautiful views and Peaceful Property

Great location and accessible to all in Malibu . The unit was pleasant had beautiful views . Bathroom a bit funky with sink vanity in master bedroom (if you have more than 2 guests ). Wi-Fi not great if you plan to zoom 😎 overall very pleasant stay .

Peaceful!

My family and I were in need of some peace and quiet. This was the perfect place with an excellent host and kind neighbors. Waking up to the waves crashing had to be one of the top items about staying here. The only negative for me personally was furniture. I have chronic pain, so most of the furniture was uncomfortable for me. It would have been awesome to have a recliner or soft chair to enjoy family time. The rest of my family did not have issues. Thanks for being a great host, Ivan.

Great location

Rented for a week with my wife and twin 13 yr olds. Would not hesitate to return. Beds very comfortable, views unbeatable, and use of the pool and hot tub were the cherry on top.

Oceanfront Paradise in Malibu

This condo is situated in a peaceful, quiet location -- a perfect beach getaway. Gorgeous ocean views from morning to night. Wake up to a view of the sunrise over the ocean. Roomy place with 2 large bedrooms. The balcony overlooks the property pool, hot tub and private beach, and provides plenty of seating space to watch the waves. Easy access to the public beachfront, which is surprisingly private and uncrowded. Highly recommended!

Beautiful view!

Given the current circumstances with Covid-19 We enjoyed our stay; , we’d rent again. Our host Ivan was very accommodating. The view was amazing, at least we were able to walk on the beach before they closed. It was nice to have a pool and hot tub, though hesitant to use at this time of Covid-19. Thank you for hosting us!

Comfortable Spot in a Great Location with a Wonderful View

An amazing location in Malibu with lovely views of the beach and ocean. The pool and sauna area were a nice bonus! The condo itself was clean, comfortable (had a hard time getting out of bed in the morning cause so nice!) and well supplied (paper products, personal care, blow dryer - all nice). Parking was easy and convenient. My husband and I would stay here again anytime!
