One night at the Lum

We stayed only one night. I did receive an email that said their front lobby, gym and pool area were under construction. So, upon arrival you had to walk through a room as the front entrance was closed. I guess that’s why the room was only $120. We reserved a king balcony room, which faced a busy road and could not leave the door open as it was too noisy, also the screen door was ripped. Only one chair to sit on on the tiny little balcony with no privacy and loud do to road and construction. Room had a. Funny musty smell when entering, but besides that seemed clean, bed was clean and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant which was also rather funny entering through a makeshift side door. I do not recommend the restaurant food, just ok. Staff was friendly enough

They are renovating the hotel rt now and it's not even remotely close to what is advertised. The front door to the lobby isn't even usable, the pool is drained and no hot tub, no bar or restaurant, elevator didn't work, TV in our first room didn't work. The walls were so thin that we could hear our neighbor grunting in his shower at 5am as if it was in our own room, had to ask to switch elsewhere which was marginally better but still more akin to a discount motel than a Hilton owned property. Almost anything near the airport would be better, do not waste your money here. Oh, and it was $55 to park with zero other options. I stay in a lot of hotels and this was the worst one in a while.

Terrible experience, DO NOT BOOK HERE! NO ONE GETTING BACK TO ME! They had no room when i showed up , i had booked and paid months prior, was informed day of travel that the gym and pool were closed, parking was costly and limited, NO WATER 1 night and a complete construction zone, the management is not getting back to me! Save yourself the headache, totally given the run around

Convenient location if you’re attending any events in the surrounding stadiums or theaters .Rooms were decently cleaned and the cleaning staff where very nice and helpful.While our stay there the pool and gym was closed and construction happening throughout the hotel.Water was suddenly turned off with no notice while I was mid shower and called the front office and they didn’t know why or when it was going to come back on.Tv wasn’t working when we arrived and was fixed hours after waiting all day. Also they only do Valet parking during our stay but multiple times during our time there we had to walk to pick up our car at the entrance next to the restaurant which led to the back parking including when we checked out we had to carry all our luggage and wait out on the sidewalk till they brought out our car instead of having the car pulled up in front of the hotel where you would usually leave your car for valet parking.Overall I would only recommended this hotel if you care about the distance of venues otherwise there are probably better hotels for a better price a little farther away .

The hotel is going through some major renovations. This will be a great hotel but at the moment it’s not great. Room was fine and clean, can hear every footstep outside of the rooms and very noisy outside with airplane and construction noise. Tv did not work in room. Again this will be a great hotel but would not recommend visiting in the next few months

Won’t be back.

The hotel was under construction and I wish I would have known that before I could no longer cancel. The tv didn’t work when we arrived and I apparently wasn’t the only one; someone had to come fix it. Which tells me they just aren’t prepared. There were spots within the room you can tell are often ignored. As someone who used to clean rooms, it was disappointing. Our neighbors were LOUD all night long into the morning. And I couldn’t call down for assistance, there’s no phone in the room. I also reserved this room to pay upon arrival and they tried charging me weeks ago then successfully again the day before we arrived. With no explanation. We will probably never stay here again.

Beware Under Construction

Overall the hotel has potential however it is completely under construction. Our balcony over looked all of the construction equipment and was extremely nosy. The pool and gym were closed. You have to valet your car there is no self parking and it’s $110, which was never mentioned when booking this hotel. The front staff were very nice and the restaurant good. Just very disappointed about all the construction and the rip off parking.

The staff and valet were amazing , i did however get extremely upset the pool and gym were closed and i took it out on the front desk girl i want my deepest apologies and management should not have in fine print that those were closed because they were nowhere tonbe found and they get all the backlash which i did and that was wrong. Full construction, no warning! Loud, pool gutted, no phone in room, TV remotes weren’t programmed, dirty walls, no magnification mirror, limited outlets, DARK bathroom. I had to put on makeup blindly for an event. I’m pissed and want a refund!

Everything was perfect except the pool was under construction and so were some of the rooms but still it was beautiful. It was clean. It was comfortable. There’s no parking so that sucked and the fee for parking per night is $50 so that sucked but still great place to stay will probably be excellent. Once the pool is done😊

The hotel was nice, clean, and the people were very friendly. Food at the connected restaurant was also great. They are currently under a lot of construction, so the pool and hot tub were closed, which just would have been nice to know before booking. We're glad we didn't havr a car, because valet was 110.
