I booked and paid for a king bed in room on Expedia. At checkin we were told our room was requested by someone else that came in so it was given to them. We got a room with double beds! Not impressed!

Safety first

The staff was great. The cost was great. My objection to this hotel is the bath tub condition. I hate hotel tubs that do not drain properly. How are you supposed to clean your feet while your standing in dirty water? Not only is this unsanitary but it is a safety hazard. Another related topic is grab bars and their location. I have seen this in other hotels so it may be a compliance issue but why are grab bars mounted at the front of the tub next to the toilet? This either puts you in the spray of the shower if you need to stabilize yourself while showering or makes it very impractical to use when stepping out of the tub. Creating slippery conditions by not draining and having "improperly " located safety aids is an accident waiting to happen. Once again all other conditions for my stay were very good. If you can't tell this is a pet peeve of mine.

The room was cleaned but there is a complete lack of amenities. There was nothing in the fridge, not even a single bottle of water. Despite a kitchen area, there were no plates in the room. The staff brought me paper plates upon request. Surely, you could provide a more substantial plates, especially with a microwave in the room. The rooms are only cleaned every 2 days. Front desk staff are lacking in communication abilities. Lastly, the breakfast was paltry, sad and very limited. You can definitely do better.
