The room and hotel common areas were very clean. The front desk staff were very helpful to us. First, in retrieving a bag we left in our shuttle. Then, in helping us get train tickets to Vientiane. The balcony overlooking the river along with the quiet neighborhood and excellent breakfast (with real coffee!) made this place a good choice. The only negative was that the walls were thin so we could easily hear the next door room neighbors chatting all night. 4.5 stars. Staffs were very friendly. Room was clean and spacious (family room with a river view). Lots of hot water, but handle was reversed to North American indicator for hot and cold. Our room needed a shower door as shower water splashed to the toilet and sink area with every shower. Breakfast buffet was great and included specialty coffees such as lattes and cappuccinos. Will definitely stay again if visiting Luang Prabang. Highly recommended!!
