Mixed Feelings at a Beautiful Property I recently stayed at this hotel, and while there were some standout highlights, a few communication hiccups kept it from being a perfect five-star experience. The Highlights: Aesthetics & Amenities The first thing you notice is how beautiful the lobby area is. It sets a great tone the moment you walk in. While I was disappointed to find there was no pool or whirlpool, the hotel made up for it with other practical features: • Fitness Center: Well-maintained and a great addition for staying active. • Guest Laundry: Having access to washing machines was a huge plus for a longer stay. • Food & Drink: They have a fantastic selection of beer, wine, and snacks available. • Breakfast: Truly impressive! The quality was much higher than your standard hotel fare. The Hiccups: Check-out & Communication I did run into a bit of frustration during check-out. Because I booked through a third-party website, the system made the process difficult. However, I want to give a shout-out to the staff. They were incredibly attentive and resolved the issue quickly. Their willingness to help through the technical glitch was much appreciated. The Dealbreaker: The Fire Alarm Test The biggest downside was a fire alarm test that occurred right when I was heading to sleep. Apparently, other guests had been notified, but I was never told. It was quite a jarring experience when you’re trying to rest.
