Hotel that is very central.

Pros: Nice room and very central.
Cons: A separate check-in desk rather than using the main bar area.
Location: Very close to shops and not far from the bus station and airport.
Stayed at the Red Lion over a weekend and as we arrived late had to make our way through a very busy pub in order to check-in, which wasn't ideal and did make me think 'What have I signed up for' but when we got to the room we were pleasantly surprised how nice the room was. I don't think this is a hotel for elderly persons as with the disco in the pub going on until 3am both Friday and Saturday evening it is very loud and lively. The breakfast was decent, what you would expect from a Continental breakfast and the hotel represented good value for money overall.
