You and your four-legged companions will love stepping straight from your door onto scenic trails, including the South West Coast Path (0.5 miles) – follow it along to the Valley of the Rocks (2 miles), where wild goats perch daringly on craggy cliff edges. Lynmouth itself is a charming place to wander, with its independent galleries, welcoming tearooms, and the pretty harbour where you can feast on traditional fish and chips. For a fun ride, hop on the cliffside funicular railway up to Lynton to browse craft shops and sample more local eats. Nearby spots like Porlock (11 miles) and Combe Martin (12 miles) are fab for family days out – the latter is a hotspot for kayaking adventures.
