Ideal location for the best of Lyon.

Ideal location for Vieux Lyon with lots of bars, cafes and bouchons nearby. Also easy to get to the peninsula. Big room. No negatives as staff were very helpful. Some minor, inconsequential issues that did not adversely affect a great break.

Excellent costumer service

Decorated like an old school, this place had charm! They provided tea and coffee in the rooms and offered wine service for when you arrived for an extra charge. I also had difficulty getting a hold of a tour company I booked through and the hotel staff called them throughout the day until they got back to me. It was incredible and a huge stress reliever. They allowed us to explore the city without worries. It was also walking distance to the old ruins of a church and the cathedral. It was also walkable (although farther) to the Roman amphitheaters.

good location and had parking. this was the plus. small rooms. no english tv stations. bed smaller than we were use to and did not have a twin bedroom for us. decor is too basic and uninteresting. Just not a comfortable room.

The hotel was quirky with fun artifacts. The rooms are very basic. No frills, or extras - no water in the room. Staff were very helpful - especially when the car park lift door didnt open!! Would defo recommend if you were looking for a central hotel to visit Lyon for a weekend.

Quirky and great location!

About 25 mins by taxi from Gare du Lyon part- dieu. Located on the edge of old town The building is an old school and this is teflected in its decor. I especially liked the use of locker style wardrobes and the photos of the class groups on bedroom doors. The breakfast is really good and is at Refectory style tables. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Good shower. The staff were very helpful.
