Very friendly owner of hotel. However our bathroom has no shower curtain and water was all over bathroom floor when taking a shower. Good breakfast. Great location but lots of street construction by hotel. Good value for the money.

I enjoyed my stay at Felix d’ort. It is an adorable b&b close-ish to the main gare in Lyon. I was able to walk to and from the station with a heavy rolling bag. The room was clean and had its own bathroom. I slept 14 hours so I think that says something about how quiet/safe it felt to me since I was traveling alone. It got a bit chilly at night but I just added on some layers and slept fine. Highly recommend if you prefer a b&b experience to a hotel!

RWC Lyon Wales v Australia

Great stay in Lyon as a group of friends on tour for the Rugby World Cup. The host and all of the staff were very helpful and friendly . Definitely not a corporate hotel but somewhere quirky that’s a refreshing change from most hotels . Great location and parking made it just perfect for us . Thanks

Not at all what we expected

Just simply not a good place to stay. Where to start? The room: Rickety junk furniture; the tiny table so unstable that putting a glass on it was risky. Rough toilet paper. No control of heat available. Bathroom sink in such a narrow space that I literally could not get my shoulders in it to wash my face. No closet at all. I could go on and on. Staff was nowhere to be found, even during their supposed welcoming hours; owner was on holiday and we discovered that a woman who was a hired employee was there but had never come to us nor even greeted us when we saw her.. she was busy with her friends! And it turned out she was Ukrainian and didn't speak either English or hardly any French! Location is poor: A residential neighborhood with virtually no decent restaurants around it.

Great stay on the hottest day of the year

Very nice small B&B rooms where clean and tidy and the breakfast was well prepared. Would definitely recommend staying here as I will next time I'm in Lyon. I only have 2 very small suggestions, the first is with Hotels.com and the listing there is NOT an airport shuttle as listed which to be honest you would not expect from a small B&B. The second and this is a very small thing. As there is no restaurant on site perhaps some tea and coffee making facilities in the breakfast room would be nice to enable guests to make themselves a hot drink during the day and before bed.

Close to old town

This was the closest place to the train station but it was still a long enough walk with suitcases and over 24 hours of travel time. The room was clean but the bathroom sink area was very tight. The shower leaked all over the floor making it rather slippery. Wifi was great. The breakfast was included and was OK. Missed that there were no hard boiled eggs. Good location to old town

Great B&B.

Charming old building in a convenient location. Plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. The host was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Would definitely stay here again on a visit to Lyon.

Comfortable stay

The place is small, yet lovely. I believe 6 rooms only, and mine has two twins. My son and I both liked our stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Many pictures and furniture are originals, captivating. Continental breakfast is fresh and sufficient, and the second cup coffee is encouraged.

Nice B&B

Staying here was a good experience, as we don't usually stay in B&B accommodation. The host was very friendly and welcoming, and made sure we knew how to access the property, and gave us breakfast details, and also some restaurant names of good places to eat. Breakfast was really good, with a choice of food. It was buffet style, in a little kitchen & conservatory area. He sent us an email prior with the codes for the gate, but only on the morning of our arrival. We didn't check emails that morning, so had to ring to find out how to get in, which was OK. We had arrived earlie than check-in time, but could access our room then. The subway station was not too far away, so we could get to the centre easily. There were no English channels available on the TV, and it froze a couple of times, so we didn't bother too much with watching anything.

Clean, nicely decorated and well organized!

Check in system allows entry based on the travelers needs. Room was thoughtfully decorated and very clean. Owner provided recommendation for nice restaurant nearby. Easy to walk to the Gare Part Dieu where I was able to take a train directly to CDG in Paris. Only a two hour ride!

Very quirky, and comfortable

Delightful experience, the host was very helpful and informative. Nice to be able to use the frig and make a cup of tea. Another guest told us how fabulous the breakfast was, but, unfortunately because of our early train, we couldn't partake. Hot shower and very comfortable bed.
