We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent for many things to do in Lyon. I wouldn’t have known about this except for helpful reviews so I wanted to add another because it’s a much nicer place to stay than some of the large chain hotels in the area.

Everything about the Carlton Hotel Lyon MGallery Colletion was excellent. size Very surprised with such a big and nice bathroom iln my room. Situated in a very good location, you could easily walk around the city. Metro station was just 2 blocks away. Very friendly staff. Fluent in english and spanish they were always willing to help me get to different places I needed to go. Breakfast was excellent. Service was amazing. Definetely, a place to stay while in Lyon.

We had a narrow balcony area that wrapped around the corner between bedroom and bath. The room was a bit small, but the bathroom was very nice. They had an antique type elevator that added charm to the property. The bar area was ok and did stay open until midnight which was nice. They do not have a restaurant on site but there were many restaurants within walking distance. Overall, I really liked this hotel’s location.

Lovely hotel in perfect location, the room was spacious and comfortable. Great location for shopping and access to the underground with easy walking distance to wonderful restaurants. Our only concern was that a member of staff entered our room at 6 pm after we had been shopping on the last day, they saw we were in and quickly scurried away. We raised this by email with the hotel but have had no reply.
