We had an amazing time here at Casa Del Sol. We stayed for 3 nights and the staff (Maylin, August, Sara & many more) were very attentive. They offered to take our laundry to the cleaner and they brought it back to our room for a very small fee. They also gave us amazing recommendations on things to do, places to eat and more. Alcides, the manager, was very friendly and it was nice speaking to a local about the town. Definitely recommend to stay in Aguas Calientes for at least 2 nights! We are very sad to leave. Thank you for treating us so special!

Lovely property with excellent river view rooms, perfect amounts of white noise to sleep, comfortable beds and hot water. Good food and all reasonably priced. Staff is very kind and helpful. Maria, one of the front desk staff made our experience world class, paying close attention to the most subtle details and helping us at each turn, even if she had other things going on. If we return to Aguascalientes, this is our spot! Muchas Gracias por todo!

LOOK NO FURTHER! If you are visiting Machu Picchu, this hotel is perfect for your trip. They are conveniently located to many restaurants and just outside the Peru Rail train station. But beyond the proximity and convenience, Casa Del Sol is truly a customer-oriented place of business. Upon our arrival at the train station, we had a staff member (Maria) meet us. She walked us to the hotel where we were greeted with a lovely hibiscus tea and warm towel to ease our arrival. The receptionist (Karen) assisted in taking us to our room once it was available and helped us throughout our stay, even signing us for a Pisco Sour course with bartender Fabrizzio! With all the patience in the world, Fabrizzio walked me through how to make a Pisco Sour, the traditional Peruvian cocktail. The restaurant aspect of the hotel is also quite excellent. Carlos, the restaurant manager, does a brilliant job at welcoming the guests and answering any questions that may arise, during breakfast or dinner (if you so choose to dine there). And I cannot forget the Hotel Manager, Alcides. He truly made our stay unforgettable. Even before we stepped foot in Peru, he was able to provide us with a tour guide for our visit of Machu Picchu, who was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. He also recommended places for us to visit and have lunch at! He also will not hesitate to have a chat with you as you are waiting in the lobby to let time pass by! I wish I took more pictures to display, but this hotel is A+++

Great hotel, best sleep I‘ve had in a while. Wonderful breakfast. Only disappointment was that no spa access was included, which has been advertised on Expedia in a misleading way.

The hotel was conveniently located with shops and restaurants near. Bus and train station are very close. The staff, especially Carlos, were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was healthy and delicious. Bag storage was available while I took the trek to Machu Pichu. Highly recommend you stay. P.S The shower was amazing with great water pressure.

Casa del Sol was for us a hidden gem in Agua Calientes. Hotel sits within 1 minute to the MP busses and is just 5 minutes from train station. A nuce gentleman from hotel was awaiting us at train and helped with luggage to hotel. We received a very warm welcome by the superfriendly hotel staff. We ate twice dinner in hotel (for us unusual), but the food quality is excellent (..try the Lomo Saltado) and service great. Carlos and his team took very great care of us. Our room was clean nice and spacious with a hot tub and splendid views over Urubamba river included! Perfect for our stay. Always again.

The Hotel was very conveniently located and everything was very close. The staff helped us with our Machu Picchu tickets to make sure we enter the ruins smoothly. What an amazing experience we had at Casa Del Sol Machu Picchu. My sister had a small accident and fell hiking nearby so we stayed here so she could recover for a few days and WOW the hospitality was incredible. Alcides and his team were friendly and caring and they were beyond accommodating to our needs with a wheelchair. The room was spacious, clean and had a beautiful view of the river. The shower pressure and temperature were wonderful. Everything we ate at the restaurant was as tasty as it was visually artistic. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and its staff. 10 out of 10 stay!

Amazing location. Great staff - came to train station to pick us up and help with luggage, arranged the most awesome guide (Alberto), and let us store baggage before and after the check-in. Beautiful views. Spacious rooms. Traditional decor. Lovely alpaca beddings.

The room was beautiful and the staff great. Breakfast buffet was decent, as well. The only negative was we were on the floor below the main floor and the short hallway was super dark and smelled absolutely gnarly. Like someone was cooking something that smelled like armpits. Thankfully the smell did not go into our room.
