Unlock outside door. The door that supposed to be locked wasn’t locked. I used my keycard and the door was actually opened. I complained about it and no one answered the phone. Plus there’s drug dealers there. Very unsafe. Do not come there!!

I literally found crystal m*th in my bathroom here. C*ckroaches in the TV box. The fixtures are falling off the walls. Food all over the carpets. Smell of smoke. Absolute nightmare.

The environment all around was disappointing. They obviously have a problem with homeless people taking extended stays. Those people around made us uncomfortable and unsafe-along with the obvious drug use-even my pillow smelled like pot. The building needs some serious upkeep as well. We traveled two hours and I needed to use the restroom while checking in-the door didn't close all the way and there was no soap. We paid probably double than what was fair. It was an event filled weekend in Madison, and if we had other options-we would have eaten the money and left.

There were difficulties checking in. First set of keys were to the wrong room; Second set of keys took me to a room that was already occupied. Third set of keys took me to a room with no heat during a snowstorm and the last set of keys took me to a room with only one bed and a broken tv. The desk clerk was nice and was trying to be helpful but was clearly overwhelmed and the only person on site, making him responsible for cleaning and customers - clearly some long term guests were 'evicted' and blocking the main entryway, making repeated trips up and down stairs for replacement keys difficult. The upstairs hadn't been vacuumed for a very long time; downstairs hallways were very dirty. Bedrooms were clean but musty smelling. No coffee/ tea in the bedrooms and no hair dryer. We should have requested a refund and immediately left, but as I was travelling with my father, we were exhausted, and the closest hotel with a vacancy was more than 15 miles away, we stayed and shared a bed, woke early and left.

Well when we pulled in the parking lot a staff member was on the corner of the motel out front smoking a joint. The ease of checkin went well. Upon entering the building…. Carpets haven't been vacuumed in a very long time. Men were literally standing in their room doorways with their doors open watching our every move. Truly after 2 different rooms keys and staff coming up with master keys we couldn't get into room. They only had one room left which was under repair. Coat rack falling off wall, door to bathroom peeking apart, no comforter on beds, rotting sink cabinet at bottom by floor and the smell wasn’t pleasant at all. DONT STAY HERE- WE LEFT IMMEDIATELY
