Just ok

Check in was wonderful, and the gentleman at the front desk was amazing. The first room that we were given. There were bugs crawling around in the sink when we first turned down the lights I went down and told the gentleman behind the counter and he moved us to a different room, which did appear to be cleaner, but the bathroom door would not actually latch shut. You had to hold it when you went to the bathroom, which was not a big deal since it was with family, but still otherwise the buds were very comfortable. Just wasn’t very clean and a little sketchy.

HORRIBLE AND UNSAFE

This was a horrible experience. They have homeless people everywhere. One tried to get into the car and drive away with my family in it as soon as I stepped out. I'm not opposed to homeless folks. I'm opposed to the hotel harboring criminals. Stay away, and don't risk it. My wife and I deemed it unsafe, and we ran to another hotel. Motel 6 is not bad, and the one in Lake Delton was great for the dogs. This one was very very bad. I don't work for either, and I don't care.

When we arrived we were told there were no 1st floor rooms, when there was noone there. After I said I was calling corporate 2 1st floor rooms miraculously became available. We were there 4 nights & there were never more than 10 vehicles in the parking lot. The guy at the desk was clearly stoned & couldn't even form a sentence & he smelled like pot. The lobby & hallway also smelled strong of pot. The rooms had bugs, mattresses had holes & there were homeless people in the lobby & walking the hallway at all hours. This was the 4th year we've stayed at this motel & the 1st time we have ever had any issues. In 1 years time it has really gotten trashy.

Motel six charged in their mistake about $800 for a couple weeks staying fee to my debit card, despite I register pay at the front desk when check in. As a result, they charge double $1,600 including we paid in cash at the front desk in all!! They refunded in same day they charged. And I had to wait for three weeks to be refined it into my bank account!! How they could double charge even a mistake so much amount of dollars.
