Only space for bags in the room was on the bed, and only upgradeable room was the same size but with a terrace. Checked out the same day we checked in and couldn’t get a refund for the nights we didn’t stay at the hotel. Recommend looking elsewhere unless on a 2-4 day trip

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated that they spoke English. The location is excellent with many shops and restaurants within a short walking distance. The room was very small but well organized and clean. I took off 1 star because there was a terrible sewer smell coming from the shower drain.

Didn’t have Breakfast Close the Centre and Transport , bars shops close by . Free drinks on arrival and complimentary bottle of wine in the room . Fridge didn’t work, reading light next to the bed didn’t work, limited menu in the restaurant.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are small but manageable. My one gripe is regarding the towels. Only two body towels were given. No hand towels are even a towel mat to step out of the shower.

Our stay at Akeah Hotel Gran Vía was wonderful. The hotel was exceptionally clean and modern, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and always responsive to our needs. It was such a pleasure to be greeted by their friendly smiles every day. The small buffet breakfast was very good, and I’d like to give a special thank you to Rosa for her kind greetings each morning. I also want to express my gratitude to Raquel for going the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooftop bar and pool were a delight—beautiful views, great ambiance, and a relaxing evening vibe. The hotel’s central location made it easy to explore Madrid, yet it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful at night. Overall, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

Central, Relaxed and Cool!

Really enjoyed my stay at Akeah Hotel Gran Via. The central location made it so easy to explore Madrid, and the relaxed vibe gave it a welcoming feel. I’m not usually the type to write hotel reviews, but this place truly deserves it. From the moment I arrived, I knew it was special. The location is perfect, right in the heart of everything, and the rooftop pool is absolutely magical. It gives the hotel a charm and vibe you won’t find anywhere else. The staff were genuinely friendly and always ready to help, and the rooms were spotless. Carlos, the manager, is a gem. He keeps everything running smoothly, is professional, respectful, and attentive, making every stay effortless and enjoyable. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends, and I will book again.

What a disaster

Rooms are pathetic . So small, hardly any space around beds, had to stack suitcases in front of door at night in order to reach the bathroom and shower hardly any packing space for clothes. Breakfast terrible , hardly any options and same every single. Will not recommend this hotel to anybody

Book this hotel ASAP! Best decision ever!

This hotel is the best kept secret in the city. You can feel the vibe and energy that makes Madrid a great city to visit and explore. This hotel owns a small pool at the top of the building that offers unique views to the city. The room is small but you don’t need more space since you will be out most of the day, enjoying all the options you can find having this hotel as your main point.

Staff was excellent. Room was smaller but on par for much of Europe/Nyc. Good value for price and very well located. New rooms/very clean and laid out in a way that made good use of limited space. Pool area was busy but always found space. Cons- no pool towels or shower rugs available one day. Floor to ceiling windows in room looked on courtyard so no privacy. Recommend for shorter stays-room could accommodate 2 carryon bags but a fitting a full size bag would have been tough.
