1 min walk from sol metro. Many dining options a stones throw away. Yet the room is so quiet. Room is clean and bed is very comfortable. I had a good rest here. Highly recommended.

This place was wonderful. Literally in the heart of everything. No car needed and you can literally walk to all the hot spots. At night a few of the streets are filled with bars and clubs. During the day all the shopping and restaurants are outside your door

This place is a scam. The pics you see on the website are from the rooftop lounge above which is not associated to the hotel at all. The area around the hotel is surrounded by noisy restaurants, drunks and homeless people. Its a busy and dirty strip. Its a 7 min walk from where the cab can drop you off. The rooms have no bed comforter, just a thin sheet to cover with, and are decorated in IKEA furniture, nothing cozy or welcoming about it. The only reason why I gave one star is because the staff was friendly and the room was clean. Other than that, this place is a dump. Reminds me of an NYC cheap hotel with terrible city views.

Pros: central location near subway and walkable to all sites; clean, comfortable, nice room. Cons: challenging to find entrance; not told about longe/snacks/bathroom area upon arrival; rooftop bar space advertised as part of hotel but is not and requires reservations. Details: Our room was clean and comfortable, plenty of space and as expected. There is a great ‘lounge space’ in the basement - no windows but roomy with couches and table and stocked with coffee, cold water, juices, and snacks. This space also has a large, clean bathroom. After arriving by plane at 6 am, no sleep, dragging bags to find hotel, this would have been a welcome space!! Unfortunately, our check in person failed to tell us about this. They also ‘stored’ our bags for us behind the main desk where anyone could see or take them. The entrances are completely hidden and very hard to find- should give specific instructions! And the rooftop terrace and bar are separate from hotel and you cannot just go hang out. You need to be seated and need a reservation at times and it’s pricey. If I had known all of this in advance I would probably give a good review overall.

El hotel está justo en la Puerta del Sol, lo que lo convierte en una ubicación inmejorable si quieres estar cerca de todo: tiendas, restaurantes, metro, y los principales puntos turísticos. Lo mejor es que, para estar tan céntrico, el precio es muy razonable. Una gran relación calidad-precio. El hotel tiene una terraza en la azotea (rooftop) maravillosa, ideal para relajarse con vistas increíbles de la ciudad. Además, en la planta baja hay una cafetería muy cómoda donde se puede tomar un buen café y algo para desayunar, perfecto para comenzar el día sin tener que ir muy lejos. Sin duda lo recomendaría y volvería a alojarme aquí en mi próxima visita a Madrid.

My fiancee and I absolutely loved our stay at B&B Madrid Centro Puerta del Sol. We spent five days here and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The location is perfect right in the heart of Madrid, surrounded by plenty of dining options and activities just steps away. The hotel provided everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Madrid!
