It would be great if a proper free breakfast was provided within the property but instead you have to walk up the street to a cafe they have an arrangement with and it's really just a pastry and a cup of tea/coffee/ juice or something like that.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Located in a safe, quiet urban neighborhood with few tourists, only a few blocks from Metro (subway) stations on several different lines. Lots of markets and places to eat nearby. Rooms on the front (east) side of the hotel face the street and are good if you want a view of the city's daily routine; rooms in the back are slightly quieter but neither are noisy. I had a room with a kitchenette, which was wonderful to sit over coffee in the morning and have lunch or supper options when I wasn't out to meet colleagues or friends for meals. Good WiFi but inquire because some rooms are too far from the router(s) for good reception. Would stay there again without hesitation.

The hotel is a short walk to several metro stations including the one that takes you to the airport so it's super convenient. The rooms are massive and clean although the walls and windows are thin so would advise earplugs for a good night sleep. The reception staff were also really nice and helpful. Overall a nice place to stay.

We stayed here because it is near where our child was studying in Madrid. Clean and quiet but A/C did not work as well as expected. Only negative. Good overall.
