The “standard” room we were given (for a family of three) unfortunately had no windows, which made the stay uncomfortable for my elderly parents. While the hotel’s location and breakfast were good, the room itself was quite cold, and both the Wi-Fi and heating/air-conditioning systems didn’t function properly throughout our stay. Overall, I wouldn’t choose this hotel again, and I’ll be considering other options for future trips to Madrid. I also wouldn’t recommend it to friends or family.

Great location. The hotel is located very close to Puerta del Sol and all the shops and restaurants, but not so close that it was loud outside the open window. The lobby had a lot of stairs incorporated into the design, so not ideal for differently abled or immobile guests, but the design was beautiful and modern. The room was spotless. The front desk staff were friendly but lacked warmth. I didn't feel especially welcomed. The bellman were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was quite nice with multiple delicious options on a large buffet, and reasonably priced. The room design and amenities were quite nice and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The shower had nice water pressure.

The room and building was super nice. The location top. But with that, comes the noise. The windows were not properly isolated which made the talking in the streets feel like nearly being in the room. Also wasn't very keen on the breakfast. Fresh fruit was nice, but the nice cappucino or fresh juices were only available for buying.
