It might be a retirement home. The smell reminded me of one where I volunteered as a teen. I also saw many elderly women without tourist vibes. My room was a shoebox. The waiter at breakfast was very kind.

We had a really good room and yhe staff were absolutely amazing and always there to help. The breakfast l thought was sightly poor. It would have been nice to have fried eggs and proper sausages. Annoyed being disturbed by nearby hotel guests fighting in their room at 2am but not the hotels fault

Good location, clean, helpful staff, spacious rooms. Hotel is hidden which makes it easy to miss if you are unfamiliar with the area. It is also very tight in the common areas and not much natural lighting, I only had 1 window and it had a shutter/blind I could not open. I liked it and would go back and recommend it to travelers that enjoy exploring the city and do not rely on hotel amenities for entertainment.

The hotel and staff were nice. The rooms are small and there are no drawers to put your clothes. We had to leave them in our luggage which was inconvenient. Ice is very difficult to get. Also, they do not provide kleenex or body lotion. Just small things but have an impact.

The room was immaculate and kept that way each day by the cleaning staff. The reception staff were excellent and extremely helpful. The air conditioning was good. The hotel is positioned in a perfect place for metro; buses and theatre's.

It is an overpriced hotel. Night was USD$355. Breakfast very basic and limited, and the room quite small. The shower was very uncomfortable and there was no help with the suitcases. I stayed at the hotel The Emperador and the night was only USD$254, better breakfast, better room, better hotel and USD$100 cheaper.
