Hotel was clean, our room was a standard double but a bit on the small side. So some of the positives were Rituals shower amenities, it was nice to have complimentary water however, this was on the first day only. Breakfast was nice with a good variety. Location wasnt as central as we thought, however getting ubers was easy. We didnt try the metro. The one biggest downside was the pool, firstly its tiny and very underwheming. It was freezing cold! It was nearly 40 degree weather yet the pool was cold all of the time. Its made up of a steel/metal interior which clearly doesnt retain heat. I mainly booked this hotel because it had a pool but was disappointed. Its a small space and only a few a beds so as you can imagine gets quite busy. Its ok for a few days.

The hotel was nicely located near Parque de Retiro. It was comfortable and nicely appointed with a very nice bathroom and shower with a nice shower head with good water pressure. The rooftop pool was nice but only 3-4ft deep. And the restaurant and lounging areas near the pool we're also very nice. The staff at the bar / restaurant were very courteous and the food was absolutely delicious. You have to try the oxtail with tostones. The bar downstairs was also very nice. It did seem more of a business hotel than a hotel that international touirists go to. I'm not from the EU so I didn't know I had to put my key card in for my power to turn on. If somebody is checking in with a passport like I did, it's a pretty safe bet they won't know that putting in your key card is a thing in Spain. But that was a minor thing. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to others.
