There are also taverns just before the village which you can reach either on foot making a nice walk, or by car within 4 or 5 minutes. Your transportation to the village of Rodia can be done on foot, for your transition to the city of Heraklion there is a bus service 2 times a day and for longer excursions you need a car for which there is private parking inside the property.
