The first room was dated, silicone covering a crack on the bath, rusty screws holding the wall panels together, carpets were stained everywhere. For £260 for 2 nights extremely disappointed. Would not recommend or stay again. Hotel needs a huge amount of money spent to bring it up to modern standards, especially at the price.

Just needed a cheap room for a night so booked last minute ,it was ok .room was clean but tired ,when i checked in I was told the air con in my room wasn’t working but I could upgrade for more money if I wanted , as it was an internal room in June surely this should have been a free and essential upgrade ,and not been told to pay extra for working air conditioning. Other than that it was ok

Stayed on the 27/05/2025. After checking in my partner called into the local shops whilst i dropped our bags in the room, upon meeting in the hotel reception my partner was visibly upset, asked why whats happened, the 2 male staff were loudly talking about our age difference using our surnames. They clearly didn't realise one of was sat in reception ! Totally ruined our stay.

We stayed as a family of four. We found the hotel itself oaky to stay in as a base. Great location. Hotel itself is a bit dated. But for a base it was perfectly fine. Beds comfy. Check in was a bit of a faff, don’t understand why they need all photo IDs of everyone, including children. Check in staff were not very friendly. Although that’s not all the staff. The evening security guy was very friendly and welcoming, as well as the Tuesday morning staff.

Too hot!

We had booked a room without a window, I’d recommend others NOT to do this in the summer months as the room is very hot. We had to pay to upgrade to a room with a window and even with windows open and a fan on the room was still quite warm.

I'd rather get the plague

Absolutely disgusting hotel. The room wasn't clean, the towels were not clean. Nothing in the room worked except the appliances in the bathroom. The welcome letter they give you says you can dial 0 from any room phone to talk to reception, this is not the case it doesn't dial to anything except outside. The staff don't do anything about people fighting, slamming doors and shouting at 2am. You cannot call the desk through your own phone as no one picks up and when you go in person no one cares to do anything. The aircon switch doesn't work so it's constantly cold and the single pane of glass means you hear absolutely everything outside - I am not sure if the busses outside were quieter than the noises in the hotel through the very thin walls. The wood around the doors looks to be rotten, the place needs demolishing and rebuilding with entirely different staff. I didn't even want my dirty clothes touching the floor and I slept covered up due to the cold room and that the bed looks like it was just made and never cleaned.

Good stay

I was a little wary about this place as it didn’t have great reviews, but overall it was actually a very good stay, check in was easy, the room was spacious and clean, The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but that’s personal preference, service was excellent, we had an issue with our door not shutting and a man from reception came up to tell us our door wasn’t shut right to ensure our safety which was good and made me feel safer knowing staff were looking out for guests, overall a pleasant stay and I would stay here again as it’s in a good location and reasonably priced.

The communal areas wete spotless. Our room 461 on 4th floor had instead of a window, a beautiful monochrome pu ture of the Lindon skyscape. We will definitely be back
