Not worth the money

The standard room was quite small and reasonably clean. I think the carpet looked old and could do with replacing. The bed in the standard room is very small and wasn’t very comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast but not sure if it was worth the extra £40. Overall we were quite disappointed with our stay especially for the price we payed and won’t be returning to this particular hotel.

Great night away

Lovely night away with my wife and baby daughter. Room was great. We are at the restaurant and the steak night was amazing. Gabriella in the restaurant was very helpful too.

Staff were very friendly and service was great. Room was a let down was confirmed a room with a bath, however ended up with a wet room. Disappointing as made a point of contacting the hotel to confirm what facilities we would get in the room which was confirmed and we were given the opposite. As this was celebrating our wedding anniversary we just stuck with it as we had lots planned and did not want the hassle of complaining on a celebration weekend

Stylish premium accommodation

We stayed when in town for Snow Patrol. Great location to bridge CoOp Live preceded by an early dinner in town. We didn’t get to use the bar (which was buzzing) and didn’t have a huge amount of time in the room - but it was stylish, spacious, comfortable and scrupulously clean.

The check in experience was poor, the receptionist was not interested at all, served us like a robot. I had requested an upgrade. Wasn’t told at check in that I had received the upgrade, wasn’t told check out time. The upgrade itself was disappointing, it described the upgrade as a king bed (it wasn’t) I’m sure we weren’t upgraded but were charged. The room needs more lighting it was dark, and unsure what the horrific wall painting/mural was meant to be. It was just strange. The hotel itself is convenient located near Piccadilly and near to restaurants and shopping. Just need to make the service better at check in & explain the upgrades.
