We arrived early and our room was ready. Hotel was convenient for Picardy station and the main shopping areas. Restaurant downstairs had a good steak night deal.

Room was great size and value for money. Only a 2 minute walk from train station. TV signal ain't great but very minor. Really decent hotel overall. Breakfast is so nice. Fresh juices, wide variety for continental and tasty hot breakfast, very quick service! Check in and out very simple.

It was mainly alright. The dirty pint glass and gin and tonic can in the bedroom a nice touch which explains the £50 overnight charge for the dog and the extra cleaning likely to be required with those kind of high standards. Slight smell of urine in the bathroom. Bar food was lovely if a little pricey, staff all generally friendly, rooms a little tired looking for some reason, if that was a club and a suite I'd be concerned about the standard.Comfy bed, breakfast was ok and the missing milk found. Those dressing gowns need replacing, they have been washed an awful lot. So as I say it was fine. Not blown away. Birmingham Malmaison significantly better. Will likely not return.
