Great stay at the hotel with the pool and breakfast being two of the perks on offer. Whilst not the biggest pool (more than four people swimming can feel like a squeeze) it offers a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast options are incredible - highly recommend the tiny apple muffins - and most certainly worth the breakfast price tag.

The hotel itself is very impressive but it’s tired and showing its age in the rooms. I visited in 2011 and it’s practically the same decor in the rooms as it was then. Needs a spruce up!

The room was lovely and tidy. Facilities within the room were fine but we could have benefited from more breakfast tea bags available in the room. Lovely hot water and comfortable bed. Pool was well maintained and a nice temperature. The breakfast was delicious! Lots of variation, all hot and very tasty.
