Great 4* star hotel

paid for breakfast, buffet style, excellent quality and choice, really good value. Double room on 10th, great view of Picadilly gardens, massive flat screen TV, digital channel,on-suite, good sized rooms alot of choice and places to eat, like to stay again

We originally booked a suite for our weekend stay which would’ve been nearly £180 for one night. When we checked in I immediately noticed how run down room was, the internal doors were all in terrible condition, they had chunks of wood missing, paint missing, the walls had so many marks on them. When I checked the bathroom I was so shocked, it was filthy! I have photos to upload, the bath was filthy, it had hair, mould, scum and general dirt all around it and in it. The toilet wouldn’t flush, the side of the shower screen was absolutely disgusting. We went straight back down to reception where we were booked into a family room. This room was better, until it came to going to bed and as soon as I pulled the sheet back there was a huge stain, again I have photos, on the sheet! How on earth housekeeping are allowing these things to happen and pass their standards checks I have absolutely no idea!
I definitely don’t expect this when I’m paying £180 a night!

Hotel & room were clean, fairly modern and well presented. I was disappointed to find a large fan in the room as it would appear the air con dial was broken and the panel above the door was missing exposing wires and electrical units. On enquiring at Reception I was informed the hotel didnt have air con but 'had an air circulation system' . In my view that's called air conditioning!

An average stay at best here. Overcharged on arrival (having to involve hotels.com to fix). WiFi is essentially non-existent, the rooms are tired, lack of plugs by the bed and walls are paper thin. On plus side, the beds are comfortable.

Room was spacious and clean.my issue was no plug socket by bed,The wifi was bad either not working or dropping out signal and speed.Shower head was very loose and needed to be higher im 6ft and kept having to bend down. AirCon did not work at all and with not much air intake from windows didnt help lucky it wasnt as hot out

The hotel was nice in public areas, lobby and breakfast area really good. The room was pretty good, a little tired around the edges but it had everything you needed, bed was comfy, bathroom clean, tea and coffee facilities available. We were next to the lift so could hear it cluncking a bit but otherwise it was very quiet. The ramp to the car park is a little hard to spot but parking was ok, get there early when its extra busy on a weekend. All in all it was good, the breakfast in particular was excellent and staff were all friendly

Room key did not work and told me I was not using it correctly and I should use a flick motion and so did not replace. This is after the cleaner also could not access the.room with my card but yet concierge insisted it was my fault. Very rude and inconvenient

The bed was tiny; my partner is only 5 ft tall, and I am 5 ft 7 in and of medium build. The bed was too small; in this day and age we expect better. Also, the carpet was badly stained? our room number was 626 You should perhaps look at Premier Inns facilites especially the bed size ?
