I stayed at this hotel in Manchester for about 4 days in July 2025. It is beautifully located -- right in the middle of the city centre. It is also spotlessly clean. However, even though I had a "studio apartment", the room, while very well-equipped (fridge, dishwasher, microwave, utensils, etc.) and beautifully furnished, was much more compact than I had imagined it would be. There was also a feature that had escaped my notice while I was booking the facility: the room is cleaned only once a week! Since it was the first time I had encountered such a feature, it came as quite a surprise. It is a potential deal-breaker for me. I prefer arrangements in which either they charge you for a room clean or give you a small discount (say, $5) if you choose not to have your room cleaned that day. I must say, though, that the staff and service, particularly during breakfast in the morning, were outstanding. Rachel Adam was a member of the staff who happened to be assigned to my table who, I noticed, went out of her way to ensure that the guests felt welcome and took the trouble to be helpful to them even outside of her immediate responsibilities (things to do in the city with small kids, transportation, and such). Most hotels I have stayed at tend to have large rooms, daily room cleaning, but poor service. This one had reversed the equation.

Everything about room and property was great, apart from a slight buzzing noice in the room that kept us from falling asleep. It was room 1022 if a staff member would like to have a look at it. Other than this the place was amazing

Check-in was appalling. We arrived at 4:30pm on Saturday 11th, well after the clearly stated 3pm check-in time, only to be told our room wasn’t ready. The receptionist insisted that check-in was “from” 3pm, despite the confirmation clearly stating it was at 3pm. She offered no explanation or estimate of when the room would be available — just a shrug of the shoulders and an unhelpful attitude. Overall, a frustrating and unprofessional welcome. Save your money and book elsewhere.

Great location for all things Manchester. Easily walkable and if you don’t want to walk the tram is right there. Lots of options for food in the area. The hotel is quiet and the rooms are comfortable.
