I would have given this hotel 5 stars, however I strongly disagree with the policy requiring staff to personally cover the cost when an invoice isn’t provided. And the fact that you tape this sign at each front desk monitor for guests to see is a terrible reflection on management and not the employees:
"ASK FOR INVOICE If we don't hand you an invoice, your order/service is free. Our staff will be accountable for covering the cost."
Holding employees financially responsible for missing invoices is unfair and unacceptable. Policies should support staff—not threaten their wages. This creates fear, not accountability.
