Good stopover to Key West!

Clean extremely well cared for resort and accommodation, but not really the area we wanted. Expected to have bars restaurants close by but had to drive . Worked well for trips out to key West and local state parks. Pool was clean and empty. Enjoyed the free kayaks. Beds comfy and perfect if self catering.

Weekend getaway

Coconut Cay met all our needs. Enjoyed staying on the houseboat. Boat rental was convenient and flexible. Great location. The site had everything you needed. Pool, kayaks, bikes, laundry etc. the host communicated and was able to accommodate our later arrival. Houseboat was fully equipped with all our needs. Will definite return for another trip!!! Hosts were very pleasant and attentive.

Explore the Keys

The aqua lodges were located on a sweet little RV resort. Everything was emasculate and the view from the back deck was lovely. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on that deck. Our 8 year old loved spending time in the loft. Great central location for exploring the Keys.

The aqua lodge was amazing to sit outside looking at the water, watching the birds and fish. Very clean and well kept. Nice having free kayaks and bikes. Lovely heated pool! The only negatives were no recycling and no signs stating please do not feed the animals. Had to kayak around floating bread and cereal that kids were tossing in the water.

The Aqua Lodge was great! Very clean. They had bikes and kayaks for us to use. Extra bathrooms if you needed them. We had manatees swimming right next to the boat. Highly recommend. Better experience than a hotel room.

Great property with gorgeous view of the water. Lovely little house boat for a family of four. Everything that you need for an amazing stay. Grounds were clean and quiet. Saltwater pool was fantastic. Nothing fancy but great vacation. Would stay again.

This was a great property. The aqua lodge was great. We used the bikes in the morning to get breakfast. Our boys fished for hours and hours just steps away from the lodges. The pool was clean and not too crowded. The only nitpick is that it would be nice for there to be a place to hang all the wet towels so they could dry. Overall, it was wonderful!

Fully equipped house boats, the view off the back deck made this trip perfect. It was so relaxing sitting in the back in the evening. A couple of manatees swam by one night. The pool was great. And the kayaks were awesome. Parking was very close, the people working were very friendly and helpful. We definitely will stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! Our aqua lodge was cute, comfy and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed. We enjoyed using the kayaks and bikes. We would definitely return!

Cool Place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Aqua Lodge at Coconut Cay! The unit was very clean and included a nice size living room area along with a full refrigerator and stovetop. The sleeping space and bathroom were a little tight, but it was fine and expected in this type of rental. We enjoyed sitting on the deck off the back, and the pool and beach area were very enjoyable! It was very close to Sombrero Beach. The staff was very helpful with providing recommendations of places to visit. There was also a nice fishing spot behind the pool as well as kayaks to use for free and boat rentals. I recommend a stay here as an alternative to a regular hotel/resort. We had a lot of fun!

What a fun stay! Beautiful view for morning coffee and evening wine on the boat's deck on the water. Houseboat was very clean and nicely appointed. There was a great area on the property to enjoy watching the sunset. Would definitely stay here again.

To be fair, its the first time we stay at a houseboat so we didn't know what to expect. We just needed a place to sleep because we planned our two days to be out and about doing activities. Overall the place fitted our needs: we had the 3 beds we needed to sleep all of us & the mattresses were comfortable to have a goodnight of sleep. It was clean, we had the extra blankets I requested due to the temperature was going to get colder for the weekend and it was dog friendly. What we didn't expect was that one of the beds was placed right in front of the bathroom door and the smell of the holding tank was sipping through every time the toilet was flushed. My suggestion would be maybe having an airfreshener installed in the bathroom to help with that. The other thing was that it was a little hard getting in & out of the houseboat because it was the first one located against the retaining wall which it was convenient, but the tide was low so it was a little high to get in or out of the deck. Thank God we are young and could handle it but our poor dog couldn't so we had to carry her up and down. Anyways, like I said, overall was good and it was just not knowing what to expect.
