The property was easy to find and staying in a boathouse was a unique experience that we will certainly do again. The boathouse was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay in Marathon.

Fully equipped house boats, the view off the back deck made this trip perfect. It was so relaxing sitting in the back in the evening. A couple of manatees swam by one night. The pool was great. And the kayaks were awesome. Parking was very close, the people working were very friendly and helpful. We definitely will stay again!

Loved everything about it!

We had a wonderful stay! Our aqua lodge was cute, comfy and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed. We enjoyed using the kayaks and bikes. We would definitely return!

Cool Place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Aqua Lodge at Coconut Cay! The unit was very clean and included a nice size living room area along with a full refrigerator and stovetop. The sleeping space and bathroom were a little tight, but it was fine and expected in this type of rental. We enjoyed sitting on the deck off the back, and the pool and beach area were very enjoyable! It was very close to Sombrero Beach. The staff was very helpful with providing recommendations of places to visit. There was also a nice fishing spot behind the pool as well as kayaks to use for free and boat rentals. I recommend a stay here as an alternative to a regular hotel/resort. We had a lot of fun!

What a fun stay! Beautiful view for morning coffee and evening wine on the boat's deck on the water. Houseboat was very clean and nicely appointed. There was a great area on the property to enjoy watching the sunset. Would definitely stay here again.

To be fair, its the first time we stay at a houseboat so we didn't know what to expect. We just needed a place to sleep because we planned our two days to be out and about doing activities. Overall the place fitted our needs: we had the 3 beds we needed to sleep all of us & the mattresses were comfortable to have a goodnight of sleep. It was clean, we had the extra blankets I requested due to the temperature was going to get colder for the weekend and it was dog friendly. What we didn't expect was that one of the beds was placed right in front of the bathroom door and the smell of the holding tank was sipping through every time the toilet was flushed. My suggestion would be maybe having an airfreshener installed in the bathroom to help with that. The other thing was that it was a little hard getting in & out of the houseboat because it was the first one located against the retaining wall which it was convenient, but the tide was low so it was a little high to get in or out of the deck. Thank God we are young and could handle it but our poor dog couldn't so we had to carry her up and down. Anyways, like I said, overall was good and it was just not knowing what to expect.

We absolutely loved staying on the house boat. The beds were super cozy and the kitchen was fully loaded for me to cook full meals. The resort provided kayaks at no extra charge and areas for fishing. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Such a Cool Place to Stay

We stayed here for 5 nights, two adults and our two kids ages 17 and 20. We all had our own sleeping space and there was a full kitchen. It was much better than staying in a hotel! Plus we had an outdoor space where we ate each day that overlooked a canal. The “lodges” were clean and well maintained. The property was nice and offered kayaks and bikes for use as well as a sandy point for fishing and watching sunsets. We loved it here! Warning: there is some motion as you are staying on water! We’re boat people so it didn’t bother us. Also the beds are not super comfy. They are mattresses on a platform. I would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely stay again!
