My houseboat did not have any ramp into enter. You have to jump from the dock to the houseboat and if you slip you fall into the water. This is extremely unsafe and dangerous unless you are physically fit and flexible. I was travelling with my mom and four people around us came for help to lift her into the houseboat. Despite reporting this to the office, we received no response for 24 hours and no safety accommodations were provided. The misleading photos and descriptions, combined with poor customer service, completely ruined our trip experience.

Loved the Aqua Lodge

We loved our stay at the Aqua Lodge. The place was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the free bikes, kayaks, and propane grills, and the pool was a bonus. The staff was friendly and welcoming. There is a Publix nearby for groceries, and DoorDash delivers too. So happy we chose this spot to celebrate our 25th anniversary.

The houseboat was super cute!! Two bedrooms, (small areas of course, but the full size beds were comfortable!), plus a loft area with a twin mattress. Fridge, range and microwave... we didn't use the oven but it was nice to have available. Pool area was clean, with a saltwater pool. Laundry area if you need it. Boat rentals available. We rented a pontoon boat for a day. Overall it was an amazing stay for our family!

What a fabulous and unique experience. The little house boat was spacious for our family, clean, and had a great view out the patio. Had plenty of amenities like coffee, cups, plates utensils, beach towels, etc. There is a nice pool, free kayaks to paddle the mangroves and darling beach to watch the sunsets. (The beach isnt for swimming, but has lovely chairs and trees to enjoy the ocean views or even fish off the rocks). We cannot wait to come again!!

A Hidden Gem

What a unique place to stay! The Aqua Lodges were by far one of my favorites! Our "houseboat" was in a beautiful, quiet oasis with plenty of amenties and activities included. Since we were right on the water, we saw a variety of fish and beautiful birds from the deck at the back of the boat. And let me not forget the absolutely breathtaking sunsets at their small beach area. I highly recommend this hidden gem!
