As you entered the lounge room you were hit with a strange smell. The bathroom smelled of chlorine and some of the tiles in the shower were mouldy. The beds in the single room both had dipped significantly when you sat or laid on the bed. One of the beds also had dead bugs in it. When I told the receptionist in the morning about it he said he couldn’t refund and could only give us a bottle of wine for the inconvenience.

We stayed from October 22-26. Throughout our stay, the water pressure in our shower was so low that it was extremely difficult to shower properly. Having two small children made this an even bigger issue. This issue was brought to your staff’s attention, but unfortunately, nothing was done to resolve it. In addition, the television in our room had a persistent blue tinge on the screen, making it difficult to watch. This problem was also reported but remained unaddressed. I had also specifically requested that our rooms not be serviced during our stay, yet they were cleaned regardless of this request. At a rate of $1,525 for four nights, I expected a much higher standard of accommodation and service. In effect, we were left without a properly functioning shower or television, amenities that are fundamental to any modern hotel stay.

Good, comfortable room. Quiet environment. Staff - particularly those in the bar and restaurant - were great, but extra staff in the evening would be advisable. Restaurant meals were tasty. Breakfast was filling!

This place was excellent, the staff were amazing, extremely professional, helpful and welcoming. The restaurant was as great, food fresh, offers breakfast too which had a great choices. The bar was a great addition with warm wood fires rooms clean with full size fridge. We had the 2 bedroom suite with living room that was great size for any family. Would highly recommend. Claire and the Manager Beth were outstanding

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. Beds were comfortable and the place was clean. Could do with a bit of updating though. The lounge area was a bit drab and couches very uncomfortable. Shower and bathroom were great and serviced well each day. Location is about 20-25min walk to main center. Or a 12 minute walk to a nice restaurant and pub. The pool and mini golf are a great feature and the pool is kept nice and clean. We would stay again!

We had a double Room it was clean however is very old and old smell, TV constantly is freezing, shower/bath not ideal and requires refurbishing. The bar/restaurant and fire was great, staff very friendly and appears they are refurbishing some of the rooms so will improve, grounds also need some attention.
