We are equipped to receive young children you will find on site at your disposal: a comfortable stroller for walks in the souk, a car seat to French standards and of course a cot.

"La Kasbah de Jade" responds to an ecological approach, respectful of the environment. In 2014, we finalized the renovation with a desire to respect Moroccan know-how and using traditional materials (wood from the region, painting in Tadelakt). Our Riad has solar panels, a heat pump reducing electrical consumption. Purchasing fresh and retail products allows us to reduce our waste while driving the local economy.

Lovely Hosts; Property Left Much To Be Desired

First, I'd love to say how amazing our host was! He and his lovely family (his wife and two children live on the first floor- guests are on the 2nd floor) truly went out of their way daily to make sure we had everything we needed from transportation to exchanging money and letting us know what areas/sights to see/things to do! However, the Riad could have been in better shape. The sheets we slept on looked/felt like they were about 10 years old and while they were moderately clean (a few of the sheets had stains)... honestly they just need to be replaced with new bedding. One of the bathrooms- in the shower we didn't even want to step in there without shoes on. Most importantly, at night this area is just not safe. At all at night. We had to be back in the Riad around 9pm which cut our days short. Our host let us know that if we are out later that we should have our taxi driver take us directly to the door of the riad... but most taxi drivers would only drop you off at the entrance and then its still about a 8 minute walk to actually get to the Riad. Overall, again the host and his wife (who made breakfast every morning) was really fantastic but the owner of the Riad should consider just doing some basic upkeep and maintenance of the location. And if you're more into the nightlife of Morocco I would not recommend staying here.just again because the area is so unsafe.

Excellent host and hostess, the Riad needs a little attention

Overall we were very pleased with the Riad. Please be careful, however, when booking this Riad. There were 5 in our party and at the time I booked and paid for the Riad I thought I was getting 3 bedrooms. Days before our arrival, the owner informed me that we would have just 2 bedrooms. I had to get Homeaway involved and the situation was eventually resolved (we got the 3 bedrooms per our contract). Also, it’s important to know that the Riad is shared with the host and hostess and their 2 children (a baby and toddler). We didn’t have an issue with that but would have appreciated knowing in advance (the description in Homeaway only mentions the hostess living on the premises). As far as the accommodations, the main room bathroom shower nozzle holder is broken. The middle room’s bathroom had small nats (bugs) in it. These issues were minor, we were able to work around them. The meal that was prepared for us upon our arrival was delicious. The host and hostess prepared our breakfast each morning at our requested time. I can’t speak highly enough of the host and hostess, they were so gracious and made sure we were comfortable not just in the Riad but as we headed out into the Medina. The host gave us a wealth of information and showed us around the Medina. The Riad is in the Medina, which is very crowded with many open air markets/commerce taking place. Our teenagers had a difficult time adjusting to that, they might have done better modern (new) Marrakech but it was important for us to experience the culture.

Fantastic riad and excellent service

My family of four rented this entire riad for four nights. The location is great. It is in the heart of the Kasbah and a nice respite from fast pace of the rest of the Marrakech medina, yet still close to everywhere we wanted to go. The property manager, Adil, is such a friendly guy and provided exceptional service throughout our stay (do note if you rent the whole place that he resides on site). We ate breakfasts and one lunch at the riad and the food was delicious. The actual riad looks just like the pictures here. We would stay at this riad again and recommend it!

Nous avons passé 5 jours incroyables au cœur de Marrakech, à proximité de tout. Une réelle immersion. Le Riad est très propre et très beau, bien équipé et la piscine chauffée très agréable. Mention spéciale pour Adil et Amina qui sont des gens exceptionnels, serviables et très gentils. Nous les remercions vraiment car sans eux notre séjour n’aurait pas été le même. Merci d’avoir organisé l’anniversaire de mon mari, tout cela a été super bien géré ! Nous gardons de beaux souvenirs. Le propriétaire Salim, que j’ai pu avoir par message, très gentil également. Avait bien transmis toutes les informations à Adil avant notre arrivée. Pour conclure, nous recommandons vivement ce Riad !

Un séjour au top !Une première à Marrakech, pour mes 50 ans, parfaitement réussie grâce à Adil qui nous a régalé par ses bons conseils et sa disponibilité et Amina par son excellente cuisine, mention spéciale pour son couscous royal.Et le Riad, une merveille, détente assurée grâce à la piscine et le jacuzzi, après une journée de balade et de découverte. Ce séjour dans ce riad a été un vrai bonheur! Tout est conforme à l'annonce, le personnel nous a concocté des dîners et des petits déjeuners au top, il était en plus de très bon conseil pour les visites et les déplacements dans la ville. La piscine était parfaite pour les 8 personnes que nous étions, et la terrasse sur le toit un endroit idéal et calme (d'ailleurs l'ensemble du riad est super calme dans une petite rue tranquille de la Kasbah, avec marché local à proximité) pour apprécier la détente et le repos après une journée dans les souks de Marrakech ! A conseiller fortement!

Riad a améliorer mais beau potentiel

Riad situé dans un quartier populaire de Marrakech, quartier pauvre et dans son jus. Le Riad a besoin d’être rafraîchit car il a un beau potentiel. À améliorer : le débit d’eau dans les salles de bains car dans notre douche nous avions seulement un filet d’eau. Piscine à chauffer car très peu exposée au soleil. Malgré tout nous avons passé un bon séjour car nous avions prévu de passer peu de temps sur place mais plutôt en excursions.

Un havre de paix oriental

Un riad, un vrai. Avec sa terrasse, son architecture, sa déco orientale, et surtout sa piscine chauffée !! Et tout à portée de pieds : alimentation, pâtisseries, restauration sur le pouce, proche de la Médina, ce qui donne beaucoup de liberté. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Adil, sa bonne humeur, son sens du partage et ses précieux conseils, et Amina, avec ses délicieux petits plats (difficile de choisir lequel était le meilleur). Une adresse à garder précieusement !

Riad agréable dans un quartier bien mais annonce à revoir

le riad est bien, bien situé et le couple qui nous reçoit est adorable. Par contre, dans l'annonce il est indiqué un hammam qui n'existe plus, une piscine avec nage à contre courant qui ne fonctionne plus et un coin spa qui ne fonctionne plus non plus. Il est indiqué également 3 salons et 4 chambres. Soit on a 3 salons et 3 chambres soit 2 salons et 4 chambres. Mais le salon/chambre du rez de chaussée est peu praticable car trop de couchage dans la même pièce avec en plus une cheminée. L'annonce doit être revue à propos de ces manques. Nous étions à 6 personnes et c'était confortable. Pour 10 personnes le riad n'est pas commode et pour peu que l'on soit en période froide, il n'y a plus de salon fermé.

Un super lieu et de belles rencontres!

Nous avons passés une semaine à 10 jeunes dans le Riad de Salomé et Karine. Le lieu est très bien placé au sein de Marrakech et la maison est superbe! Terrasse, piscine, grandes chambres...tout était parfait. Un immense merci à Adil et Amina pour leur accueil chaleureux. Amina est une super cuisinière et Adil était toujours là en cas de besoin, et ce, qu’elle que soit l’heure. Nous saurons conseiller cette location à l’avenir. À bientôt j’espère

Le couple d'hôte très agréable et serviable, nous donne des bonnes adresses à visiter. Riad niché au coeur du quartier de la Kasbah, quartier populaire situé à 20 min à pied de la médina. Riad calme malgré l'animation du quartier, la piscine chauffée et la grande terrasse extérieur en font un endroit atypique pour un séjour à Marrakech.

Piscine agréable

La piscine est agréable. les draps de nos lits étaient tachés, le propriétaire s est engagé à les changer. Sur la terasse les serviettes de bain des precedents occupants n'avaient pas été retirées. Le petit déjeuner etait servi avec jus d orange industriel, par contre Adil a servi à 5h du matin avant notre départ. Nous ne sommes restés qu une nuit.

Nous avons passé 4 jours au Ryad, avec des amies. Le Logement est parfait, bien situé et au calme en même temps. Adil a été aux petits soins pour nous et son épouse nous a cuisiné un très bon couscous. Concernant la literie dure et le débit d’eau, vu dans d’autres commentaires, je tiens à préciser que, pour avoir fait plusieurs Ryad à Marrakech, c’est partout pareil. Merci encore pour ce séjour, parfait! ma sœur etait ravie de son week end surprise

Très beau Riad , bien situé dans la Médina.

Idéalement situé pour vivre au centre de la Médina. Adil nous a très bien accueilli et conseillé tout au long du séjour. Amina nous a cuisiné des couscous et des tajines merveilleusement bien. La piscine était chauffée, c'était très agréable. Idéal, pour les personne qui aiment une literie très dure, dans les 3 chambres. Petit probleme technique, le débit d'arrivée d'eau et les évacuations dans les douches étaient très faible et difficile. Belle rencontre et bon séjour. A Revisiter un jour.
