Great location. Just push your luggage off the train and across the street and you are here! Best Feature of all! Tiny room but perfect for a quick overnight for an early trip by the train or take the bus from the train station to the airport!

Convenient, clean, comfortable

Nice stay at very conveniently placed hotel next to main rail station. However, our room had almost no electrical outlets, and no coffee machine. Not dealbreakers, of course, but in a competitive market for hotel accommodation, Ibis should be providing these things. Also, everything is a "pay for" extra, it seems... baggage storage, for example. Ouch.

We had a great stay at ibis Marseille Centre Gare Saint Charles! The hotel and its facilities were clean and well-kept. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and answered our questions about our scheduled train ride. While smoking is very common in Europe, it is good to keep in mind (especially if you or your young children are sensitive to the smell) that some cigarette smoke may come through your window from the café below - we didn’t mind too much ourselves. The best feature of the hotel is that it is steps away from Gare Saint-Charles station (major train station) which is extremely convenient if you have an early-morning train ride like we did!

Clean, comfortable, efficient hotel. Good location next to the train station. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wonderful recommendation for dinner! Rooms need more outlets/usb ports. Hair dryer needs updating. Otherwise, high marks!

The most convenient location to access the train station, the staff was at some point overwhelmed, and the wait to have service seemed a bit long. The bar downstairs is convenient. I have to note that the shower/shampoo soap in my room was water down,

Awkward bathroom layout

The new-since-we-were-there-in-2023 curtains are good, There are of a blockout dark grey colour and they fill the window opening. This time we had a bathroom were the shower was next to the bathroom door which made maneuvering in and out of the shower somewhat difficult, even for the not-large person in our room.

The room was small but the hotel was conveniently located right next to the main train station whoch was a priority for me. I only spent one night. It would have been great if I could have left my luggage at the front desk but instead they offered lockers that you had to pay for.
