We have been coming to Maushop/Popponesset for nearly 30 years, and this was the nicest property we have rented! It was exceptionally clean and had absolutely EVERYTHING we needed. Even with 4 days of rain, just sitting and watching the waves crash (and listening to them at night) was magical. The photos really do not do the property justice. Paul was incredibly responsive and we will come again!

Perfect coastal beach cottage

Our family of 4 traveled to Mashpee to be centrally located in all things Cape Cod. We did morning and afternoon excursions around the area. We loved staying on the private beach that had great views of the sunrise. The property was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the beach cottage and appreciated the lawn area in the backyard of this lovely neighborhood.

Fantastic location & rental

The rental house was very nice & well-equipped. The location on the beach was superb, with amazing views! The house easily accommodated 6 adults for the weekend. There was plenty of lawn chairs for outdoor seating on the patio. There was also a nice awning for shade. The grill was also nice to have & was easy to start. The rental agency was nice to work with & very good at communicating. The only negative was the checkout time of 9:30 am. We felt that was much too early.

Mostly wonderful!

This is a wonderful house in an ideal location with the ocean right outside your door. The sights and sounds of the water can't be beat. It's situated in an area close to necessities and within easy driving distance of everything you'd like to see on Cape Cod. The home is comfortable and supplied with everything you need for a pleasant stay. If I could, I would delete half of a rating star regarding one of the departure requirements. Although guests pay a $295 cleaning fee, they are required to "wash, dry and fold" all towels before leaving by 9:30 a.m. This is very unreasonable to expect from guests getting ready to leave on a busy departure morning, particularly if an even earlier departure is necessary. Towels are needed with little time to launder them! In addition, the couch slipcovers are badly stained and need a thorough cleaning. This detracts from the otherwise spotless condition of the home. Despite this, our stay was great, overall.

This property was amazing! Instantly felt like home when we walked in. Fabulous ocean views and a private beach were the best. The property had everything you need and was immaculately clean. What a wonderful beach home! The house is lovely and has all the amenities you could want. I can’t imagine a better view both from the patio and also from the living space. Spectacular. A great place to relax, but close to so many things to do in the area.

solid family getaway spot

This was your classic Cape Cod beach rental, right by the water, close to shops. A really good spot. Unique to this unit was the high quality kitchen stuff, the private beach spot to the community, the nice outdoor shower, and a very responsive management team to questions and concerns. If we were to make one suggestion, it would be to upgrade the mattresses, sheets, and bath towels to a similar quality of the kitchen stuff. But everything in the unit was totally fine and acceptable. We had a great time and it more than met expectations.

Wonderful family vacation

We stayed here with our three young children. The stunning beachfront location could not be beat. The home was completely updated, clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet. We walked/rode bikes to the neighborhood center for breakfast, mini golf, etc. Would definitely stay again!
