Tämä 5000 neliömetrin, 6 makuuhuoneen, hyvin varusteltu koti sijaitsee yhdellä Massanuttenin korkeimmista nousuista. Se sijaitsee erinomaisella paikalla hyödyntääkseen uskomattomia näkymiä laskettelurinteille ympäri vuoden.

Lähellä uintia, vaellusta, pyöräilyä, minigolfia, hiihtohissejä ja paljon muuta, sijainti on ihanteellinen hyödyntämään kaikkea sitä, mitä Massanutten ja Shenandoah Valley tarjoavat lomallesi.

Jeff is an amazing host and made sure we had everything we needed! Beautiful views! I was disappointed that we couldn't use the fireplace because of insurance but we would definitely stay here again and hope we have an opportunity to go back!

Wonderful place for our family get together

We loved everything about this place- it was even better than the pictures show. We had five couples, one single adult, and one 6-year old. There are four bedrooms upstairs with one bathroom, but it's easy enough to go downstairs if needed. There are two big bedrooms in the main floor with restrooms. And there is the one room downstairs with couches that could be a bedroom. Huge porch (now with a hot tub!), great views, and plenty of various seating options. We even went for a hike down the road, which ended up being more difficult than we anticipated, but lovely nonetheless. The owner is extremely quick at communicating. I'd definitely stay here again.

Excellent Rental - Highly Recommend

We originally planned for 12 adults but ended up with 8 due to snow in our home area. This home was perfect! There was plenty of space for us to watch movies, play pool and card games, and relax. One of my favorite moments was sitting in the living room rocking chair next to the fireplace one morning, looking out to the picture-perfect view of the slopes…so peaceful. The close proximity to snow activities was also awesome and convenient. DoorDash and Grubhub delivery, which came in handy when we didn’t feel like cooking. That said, we had everything we needed in the kitchen. A very unique feature in this house was the 4-season room/deck off the upstairs master. There are a couple chairs where you can sit and enjoy the view without succumbing to the cold. During our stay, we were able to watch a snow shower and it was so beautiful. The owner kept in contact throughout the trip to answer any questions and ensure all was going well, and was extremely helpful. This house is definitely a winner and we would love to stay again!

Great property and host

Fantastic location, great property for family reunion (ten of us, 7 adults, three kids 5 and under). Both kids and adults loved it. Kids loved the toys and playing PAC-man with their father. Adults enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, the Fall weather, and watching the leaves change. Lots of space, great common room and dining area. Easy drive to Shenandoah National Park -- we hiked there almost every day. Minor issues: 1) having to check the propane level as part of checkin; 2) having to haul the trash down the hill for disposal. For a high-end property, the cleaning crew should be able to do one or both of these.

Trip with old friends

A group of us met up at the Massanutten resort in September and stayed at the King's Lodge. This place was easily able to accommodate 13 of us without making us feel like we were right on top of each other. The common areas had ample seating and the deck offered some nice views! The resort area has some beautiful spots with lush green scenery, deer traipsing about, convenient trails, etc. We made some good memories here! Definitely would recommend!

This is a beautiful property with many in house entertainment options such as pool, vintage video game, foosball etc apart from some other board games. (Poker was missing cards) The internet connection was great in all levels of the property with excellent speeds of over 200mbps when I ran the speed test from my phone. All rooms have excellent Samsung HDTV Which u can easily hook up to your own portable sling, direct or Apple TV services. There were also many Movie DVDs available. Beautiful vista views from the sun room, screened in porch or open deck space. Plenty of sunlight coming from East and West at the deck. Some of the rooms have attached sunrooms to relax. Well insulated windows make it very quiet without any leaks etc (The master Bath shower was providing only hot water and no way to adjust the temp) Dish washer runs very quiet but the ladies reported that it was not taking the liquid pods during the wash cycle. In house washer and dryer works great. Plenty of outdoor activities such as mini golf, gocarting, skying etc are very close by. Location is very quiet and picturesque! Checkout was easy. Highly recommend and will stay here again!

Family Trip

Our visit to the King Lodge in Massanutten Resort was great! We were a family of 15 and the house was very well equipped with plenty of room for all. There was something to do for all ages and everyone found something that they loved. The Water Park was awesome and the Shenandoah Park was a real treat. The views from the house are spectacular. We all agreed we would love to visit again! The only thing I would recommend is adding a door to the screened- in porch, bath rugs in the bathrooms, and let renters know you have a Keurig coffee maker also . Thank you, Jeff, for a wonderful vacation!

Nice get away

Overall this property is wonderful. These are not complaints, just a few suggestions, do your research on the resort rules and guidelines.1. Asked owner several questions regarding certain activities. Although they were answered promptly, they were contradictory to the actual rules. 2. We were a large family group, 16 to be exact. Going out to eat is really not an option for us. Kitchen is relatively well stocked. While there is plenty of seating, dishes, silverware etc..pots, pans and serving dishes were very limited, there are no food storage containers. 3. If you are interested in fishing be aware you will be required to purchase both a VA fishing license and a resort fishing Permit to fish the ponds on resort property even though VA law states otherwise. Resort personnel are ill informed. After a 20 minute discussion. and presenting them with the state regulations, their final answer was “because that’s the way we’ve always done it.” Being an owner of a beach property in a resort area ourselves, we are familiar with unhappy guests. You will not be disappointed here. We had a great time, the views are stunning ! Would definitely return. Thank you Jeff for sharing your beautiful home.
