Hidden among the trees, Wild Laurel (new build) is for slow mornings, curious kids, and cozy nights by the fire. This sun-filled boho-inspired A-frame offers two bedrooms, one bath, and a glowing gas fireplace that quickly becomes the heart of the home. Throughout the space, thoughtful details elevate the stay, from high-end linens, spa-style towels, and a bidet to a French Press ready for unrushed mornings.

The house was curated with families in mind and little ones are thoughtfully welcomed with family friendly conveniences like a black out blinds for naps, pack-and-play, sound machine, baby monitor, books, toys, and games. Downstairs, the heated rec room offers space for all ages to unwind together, making it easy for everyone to feel at home.

Outside is where the magic really happens. Swing high on the beloved rope swing, relax in the hammock with a book while kids play in the disco teepee, or gather around the boulder fire pit as the woods come alive. The deck invites long meals and easy snacking, with a full-size outdoor dining table and grill overlooking peaceful forest views below. Deer and turkeys wander through regularly, and younger guests love searching for salamanders sunbathing among the forest rocks.

One of our favorite things about Wild Laurel is its location. Tucked away in the woods offering exception privacey yet centrally located, you’re under 10 minutes to Wisp Resort, the lake, and all the main attractions. Exploring Deep Creek Lake is easy and convenient, whether you’re heading out for a day of adventure or dinner at local favorites like MoonShadow, Mountain State Brewing, Firewater or Pawn Run.

Whether you’re here for family memories, outdoor adventures, or simply to slow down and reconnect, Wild Laurel offers a warm, playful retreat designed to be enjoyed by guests of all ages.

Recommend winter tires, All Wheel Drive (AWD), or 4x4 in winter months with snow. Driveway is plowed regularly along with road but can still be icy.

Smart lock door codes will be assigned upon reservation. Codes activate at your check in time and deactivate at your check out time.

Small family gatherings are welcome but overnight max occupancy of the house must not be exceeded. No parties, or disruption to neighbors and nearby residents. Quiet hours begins at 10:00pm. Please respect the neighbors and property.
