At check-in the front desk tried to upsell us to a bigger room. I did not appreciate being asked to pay for an upsell at check in when I was tired. The rooms were dated and had no sound proofing. The kids next door kept crying and screaming. The breakfast was full of cheap items and there was no service at the table. Four star hotels have better breakfast service. The breakfast staff would constantly try to delay on various excuses requests for fresh orange juice

I always stay at the Fairmont whenever I come for Umrah, and it never disappoints. The location is unbeatable because you can get to and from the Haram so easily, without any stress. The property is spotless and the staff is consistently warm and respectful. I especially want to mention Abdur Rehman from the breakfast buffet. He was genuinely such a pleasant person and looked after me every morning. His kindness and attention really stood out and made my mornings feel so welcoming. I also needed to extend my checkout by an hour and the team was incredibly accommodating. Little things like that make a huge difference when you’re traveling. Overall, Fairmont continues to be my go-to. I always feel comfortable, cared for, and at ease here.

The 1 king bed was rather small. There was no view but it did not matter as we were out most of the time. The breakfast was very expensive. Overall, the stay with Fairmont was excellent.

I had a wonderful experience at the Makkah Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel. The stay itself was great, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service during checkout. Ahmed Yar and Jowharah were incredibly helpful, patient, and professional. They made the whole process smooth and stress-free, and their kindness left a really positive impression.
