The hotel is located in Meiringen, which is connected to Interlakhen OST and Luzern by train. Lake Brienz is also pretty close to the property. The room was spacious, had all amenities. Though like many other Intrelaken Hotels, the hotel does not have AC, however, they provided table fan, which is sufficient. Hotel provides a free pass to ride to local cable car and public bus services.

Not what I expected. Hotel room was older which is no problem, one shared toilet on my floor and two showers for floor. Was fine to sleep in. Right next to road but the traffic sounds never bothered and didn’t need the earplugs they provide

All photos and descriptions are misleading. This is not what you get. It’s shared bathroom with other strangers using shower at the same time. NON of the rooms has AC. Rooms are filthy dirty no elevators to some rooms. Horrible experience. Tried to get my money back from Expedia. Hotelier lied to Expedia that they paid me 50 frank in cash just to get out of it.
