As a regular guest at The Eminence it’s disappointing that cleanliness has significantly deteriorated. Soap dispensers empty, hair of the previous guest on the floor and years of mould accumulation in the bathroom. This is not acceptable and doesn’t adhere to the usual standard of other Cllix properties in Australia.
super good for family or couple. Stay 3 times already. Plan the 4th time stay in Jun 2025. Definitely recommend for everyone

Just out of free tram but very walkable
Room is ok needs a deep clean of vents and bathroom walls and new linen however overall it’s clean
Cosy unit ideal for a couple within easy walking distance of Lygon St. Kitchen & laundry facilities provide additional amenity. Small, dusty balcony at the rear overlooks a laneway and surrounding buildings.
the biggest issue when staying in a hotel is neighbour noise, or my own snoring, i could not hear neighbours and apparently i had neighbours on either side, so outstanding insulation.

Fantastic location within walking distance to the Royal Botanical Gardens , Queen Victoria Market, China Town and numerous restaurants and pubs. The outdoor sky deck has beautiful views of the city.
Perfect location for where we needed to be. Room had a good amount of space for a family and decent facilities but there was some water damage to the floor and door outside the bathroom which caused the floor to warp. Rubbish wasn't put out by housekeeping or past tenant. We were asked to remove rubbish to the disposal nearby before vacating. Notified front desk after clearing it myself and there were no more bin bags. Notified front desk twice during out stay and were told they would have housekeeping bring bin bags and a tea towel which was also missing. Told them at check out that I'd bought bin bags and used the facewashers and handtowel instead. Friendly staff were apologetic but no action.

Great Stay
Great customer service were always attentive right up to check in and the stay was pleasant.
Safety within building, no one can get through main doors without their room fobs.
Only downfall, being a smoker, smoking was not permitted on the balconies as most accommodation we have stayed in, in Melbourne. You had to leave the building completely, which is not real safe for guests at night, by themselves.
