Absolutely loved our first family holiday in Melbourne. We chose Pegasus purposely for the themed kids rooms which were amazing! The kids were amazed when walking into their super Mario bros themed apartment! Spacious, tidy and the kitchenette was a must with little ones! The staff were very accomodating with everything! Would absolutely stay again!

Pool and Spa was clean. Staff were friendly and nice to the kids. The room was great for the boys. We had the racing room, which the boys absolutely loved, they were so shocked and surprised to see the room and the theme. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, omelette stations are always a winner! But let’s not forget that pancake machine, the kids loved watching this machine do its thing!

The reception area was open 24/7 even though this was an apt. style. Loved the room. Lots of space to spread out and the kitchen area was splendid. I wish they would have provided Equal in addition or instead of sugar for the morning coffee in the room. They did come to clean every day unless you left the "do not disturb" sign on the door. Upon leaving the called a cab for the airport. He took me to the wrong airport for my domestic trip to Sydney. I wish I knew there were 2 airports in Melborne. Nobody mentioned that.

Weird smell in the room. Air conditioner didn’t have the option to change the temperature and was very loud. Constant whirring sound outside throughout the night. Rooms were not sound proof. Staff were helpful checking in and checking out, that’s about the only positive.

Check in was awful, I had just driven 4 hours with three kids and as a single mother I had used my maiden name on the booking but because my ID was still my married name they wouldn’t let me check in, even though my ID could prove it was me. The lady was rude and unhelpful. I would not stay there again.

Lifts were out of order and so only 1 out 2 lifts to the higher levels was working. This meant waiting for up to 15-20 mins to go up to your room or come to the ground floor. Staff were apologetic but there wasn’t much they could do. It made the stay that much more inconvenient.

I stayed with my son in a 2 bedroom apartment. Check in quick and easy. Nice to have our own rooms and a small lounge. Kitchen well enough equipped but only a microwave oven if you want to cook. It was very clean and comfortable, good beds and pillows. A bit of street noise even on 14th floor, but not surprisingly given location. Breakfast was ok, reasonable choices, probably a cost effective option given the expense of dining out in Melbourne! Lots of dining and coffee options within walking distance, Woolworths and Victoria Markets 5 minutes walk. Close to tram stops. I loaned Myki cards from reception, very handy! My son liked the pool/spa, it was very popular given it was school holidays. Overall a very good stay, only negative was slow and small elevators.
