Good room with a great view and enough amenities to make life easy. But - the dishwasher door didn't always easily close; there were no hand rails in the shower and the weekly room service was limited to replacing towels and emptying trash.

It was great to stay in a clean modern apartment with a great view with a very short walk to Southern Cross Station. The only thing that we didn't like was the excessively long wait for a lift during periods when one lift was out of service.

The apartment was a clean modern apartment with an amazing view. It's location (beside Southern Cross Station) was excellent. Shampoo and soaps meant that our apartment experience was comparable to staying in a hotel but with the benefit of having separate bedrooms.

We only met one staff member, James, who had stayed late to check us in. He was very pleasent and helpful. Our room was average, the bedroom was cramped because the bed (king size) was too big for it. The kitchen lacked utensils so we could not make the most of the oven, microwave or stove top. However the plus side of the Aussie Escape was its location, close to Southern Cross Rail Station, Tram stop outside the building and a shoppers paradise a short walking distance from the entrance. We did not use the swimming pool etc but other guest said they were good.

Had great views from our floor. Cozy and comfortable for the most part. Only small complaint is that The bathroom door wouldn’t close, so we used a little hack. The bathroom sink was slightly smaller. Kitchenette was helpful to prepare breakfast and small meals. Also close to tram stations and groceries. Good location, safe as well.

Fabulous location, close to all transport, and really safe entry to the lifts and your own floor by key fob. The apartment had everything you could need and more - full kitchen facilities, washer and dryer, and 2 toilets!! The bed was really comfy and there was also a sofa bed if needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Central with high views

Two bed apartment (one double with great views and one twin which was interior no window), plus large sitting/dining room and kitchenette area, small shower-room. Well-equipped. Lucky enough to get apartment with river views, all have skyline views. Slow lifts and only one key fob per apartment a bit inconvenient. Located near Southern Cross station, handy for bus to airport; tram outside. Apartment showing signs of age - blinds don’t fit, windows taped up, draughty, but overall good value.
