Quiet area, nice stay along south melbourne. Nearby to st Kilda beach and Brighton beach. Not many restaurants and shopping nearby. Nice bar at the hotel with friendly staff and good drinks. Paid parking at the hotel in tight carpark

"I recently stayed at the hotel, and I have mixed feelings. On the positive side, the service was genuinely good. The location is also excellent.However, I was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness. To be blunt, it was poor and, at times, quite disgusting.This significantly impacted my overall experience. While I appreciate the good service and location, The cleanliness issue is real shame, as it has the potential to be a great place.

Loved the king beds. Super comfortable in fact wanted to stay another night and when asked front desk how much they quoted some ridiculous rate of $228 went online it was showing $145. They wouldn't match it nor would they let me stay in the existing room until next room is clean and ready. They wanted me to check out at 11am and wait for 3 hours until 2pm check in. This has never ever happened before where the current inhouse guest has to check out and check back in when i could have stayed in the same room and they didn't have to clean it. So after feeling like second rate citizen i checked out and they are still holding my $100 pre auth which they insisted releases immediately after check out. Absolute rubbish
